Why You Should Come on Saturday
I was having lunch at the Iron Hill Brewery with a friend when my phone rang. The caller ID said that it was “home” calling.
“Hi Honey.” Silence.
“Hello?”
There was a slight catching of the breath on the other end of the line.
“Honey?”
“The doctor called… It’s cancer”

On this date, 15 years ago, I married Mrs. Geek. We have seen each other through better and worse, richer and poorer, sickness and health. She and I are a great team, if I do say so myself. I am truly a lucky man.
