    I couldn’t help myself, so I left a comment.

“This is good stuff. I especially appreciate two consecutive sentences in the third paragraph ending with exclamation marks. Anytime I think of professing my personal selfishness and adoration for capitalism I always use an exclamation mark. I see great things ahead for the iPod.

Alternatively, maybe the problem is that you all are incredibly confused! “

      I too could not resist.

“When I became chair, my vision was to bring the core message of …of free market principles, constitutionalism and individual liberty…to the forefront to the next generation of Sussex County!” – Hunter Hastings

If all your “core message” amounts to are tired glittering generalities, you deserve to lose.

      • Alby says:

The problem isn’t that they are generalities, it’s that they are tired, cliched generalities that have already-proved negative effects.

My favorite part is that “young” is anyone from 18 to 40. If you’re still trying to be young at 40, you have even bigger problems than Republicanism.

  4. Delawaredude says:

At least they have an active YR. The Young Dems of Delaware haven’t had a meeting since like 2009. Exaggerating a bit but they are non existent

    • Alby says:

Good. Citizen involvement in government should not be mediated by political parties, and I’d rather not have young minds polluted by professional politicians, thanks all the same.

    • RE Vanella says:

Yeah, we’re going to pass. We’ve got other stuff cooking. Maybe you’ve heard.

Alby’s correct. The last thing we need is our young motivated people going to a Chamber of Commerce luncheon hosted by Gov. Carney. Fuck that noise.

You only way we’re going to something like that is to picket it. Maybe run them out of the Hotel DuPont or whatever.
