White Privilege Sentencing

Filed in National by on December 7, 2018

If these convicted Wilm Trust criminals had been caught with $5.00 of weed on them while being black, they’d be headed to jail for sure.

There’s no guarantee that four former executives of the only financial institution to be criminally charged in connection with the federal bank bailout program will be sentenced to prison for fraud.

But even if a judge orders prison time for the former Wilmington Trust officials at their sentencings later this month, they won’t be led away in handcuffs.

…Former Wilmington Trust president Robert Harra Jr. and former chief financial officer David Gibson are to be sentenced on Dec. 17. Former chief credit officer William North and former controller Kevyn Rakowski will be sentenced two days later.

It is, but my solution isn’t to treat these guys like street criminals, it’s to treat the street criminals with the human consideration these guys are getting. The answer to brutalization for The Other isn’t brutalization for all.

And nobody has been treated more delicately by the criminal justice system than Trump and his crew. See how this works? The higher you climb, the less the law applies to you.

It’s similar to the way you never see a cop writing a speeding ticket for a Maserati. Can’t keep what you can’t catch. Remember, our asset seizure drug laws were the system’s answer to cartel leaders hiring lawyers that prosecutors couldn’t beat.

It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished. Unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.
