Coons lends his empty “hopes and prayers” to the nation

Coons just got a chance to promote his prayer breakfast on Morning Joe. The MSNBC panel ate it up, of course.

Nobody seemed to recognize the irony of Coons extolling the value of praying with his GOP buddies every week just after stating that he is “puzzled” by why Mitch McConnell continues to block all efforts to protect the Special Counsel.

BTW – I missed most of Coons’ segment. I’m sure his commitment to bipartisanship is fixing many problems because… reasons.

  2. They asked him why he reaches across the aisle so much. He said because (a) that’s his job; and (b) he doesn’t know what else to do.

    Man, they fellate him at least once a week on Morning Joe.
