In March of 2009, Alejandro Escovedo brought his Acoustic Trio to the Gild Hall and put on a transcendent show. The band entered through the gates of ‘Castle Adamant’, which was onstage for the upcoming Gilbert & Sullivan production. His encore was 20 minutes spent strolling and playing throughout the audience of the sold-out show.  He did both of these songs that night. The first one features Susan Voelz and David Pulkingham, who both performed with Alejandro at the Hall:

This one is perhaps the finest song to tackle the twin topics of Buddhism and…taxidermy.
