Greg Lavelle’s Panicked Mailers
What district does Greg Lavelle think he is running in? Looking at this mailer i get the feeling Lavelle thinks he is running in the 20th, and trying to turn out the #MAGA hat wearing, Fox News-loving, mouth breathers of Laurel. How else can you explain this shrill mailer?
Oh yeah… panic.
The best thing (by far) about this mailer is the SEO friendly clip art title: “Hush money: nerdy businessman silenced by dollar bill gag”
The nerdy businessman bears an incredibly strong resemblance to Msgr. Greg Lavelle
I think he just got one of his pedo priest buddies to do him a favor.

Ummmm can we all stop running Lavelle’s negative ad for him? I’ve seen the candidate post it herself (or the campaign) and then the party too. Amateur hour. You can be critical – and should be – without amplifying the negative message for free.
How many persuadable voters do you think read DelawareLiberal?

I look that as Sturgeon speaking to her people…keeping them psyched up.
The only message it gave me was that Republicans will burn Benjamins to make a dumb point, so why trust them with the government’s money?
Another indicator of Lavelle’s desperation:
He put out an enewsletter on Wednesday with a very strained attempt to describe a dubious conflict of interest because Dem Mike Houghton, chairman of DEFAC, is a major contributor to several PACs for which Dem Brenda Mayrack, director of state’s unclaimed property office, is listed as the official contact. And, since the state depends on revenue from unclaimed property … well, the Monsignor suspects there must be some hanky-panky going on.
Mustn’t be any real issues the Monsignor wishes to discuss. He’s now deep into Al D’Amato ‘try to tear down my opponent b/c too many people can’t stand me’ territory.
Well, with the newsletter, Lavelle is not attacking his electoral opponent. Rather, he’s going after two fairly prominent Dems who hold appointive positions in state government. His point, if there is one, is too damn esoteric to have any positive impact on his campaign. And, whether or not there’s any merit to his complaint, all he’s done is put some tar (too soon to say how much) on DEFAC, which has helped keep the state’s finances pretty much on track since the Monsignor was in high school.
