Also, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, the most vulnerable Democratic incumbent, announced she would vote against Kavanaugh’s confirmation, leaving only Joe Manchin of West Virginia undecided.

Maybe Susan Collins was reading a different report?

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), a key swing vote Republicans need to confirm Brett Kavanaugh, indicated to CNN after leaving a briefing on the FBI report that was turned over to the Senate overnight that she thought the report was “thorough.

Why does anybody ever believe Collins? Always the same game, and it always reminds me of faux “moderate” Mike Castle. Once in a blue moon she votes against the party, with permission I assume, and proclaims herself a moderate. Like usual the clowns of the media will not call her out.

I’m told by source with direct knowledge that Flake is “still having issues” and that some colleagues are trying to “walk him through them.” Sen Coons tells me just now that Flake reached out to him and asked if they could speak at length later.

    Arrests have begun.

So this investigation got railroaded and made into a cover-up. What did Coons think would happen with Trump in the Whitehouse and McConnell in charge of the Senate?

Barricades have been erected around the Capitol ahead of the Kavanaugh vote. Have been here 12 years and have never seen this for a vote.
