According to Trump, a vote for Ken Simpler is a vote for Trump

Filed in National by on September 24, 2018

Trump wants the mid-term elections to be a referendum on Trump. All votes for any Republican anywhere are votes for Trump. All votes for any Democrats are votes against Trump.

A poll came out. They said everybody is going to vote in 2020, because they want to vote for the President. But they are not maybe coming out in 2018. Get out in 2018. Because you are voting for me in 2018. You are voting for me.

You are voting for me.

A vote for Ken Simpler is a vote for Trump.
A vote for Sapdola is a vote for Trump.
A vote for Lavell is a vote for Trump.
A vote for Lopez is a vote for Trump.
A vote for Bonini is a vote for Trump.

Staying home is about 500 votes for Trump.

A vote for Scott Walker is??

  2. RE Vanella says:

So we can’t vote for Spadola now? 🙂

    • jason330 says:

I’m not. I’ll leave that blank.

      • If Spadola renounces Trump, I’ll vote for him. But if he finesses his position to keep that solid SuxCo vote, I’ll abstain.

          • RE Vanella says:

On one hand it seems a little over-the-top to expect a GOP candidate for state auditor to make a public statement about the president.

On the other, we’re in some extreme circumstances here, so… maybe it’s not that strange.

Trump has handed all Democratic candidates a hammer. If I was running against a Republican I’d use it. Some will not.

              • Delaware Left says:

You can’t call yourself a “progressive” let alone a “liberal” if you’d vote for an ex-cop Republican.

Just write in a friend and be done with it

              • Alby says:

Why, you gonna call the liberal police? There are two Republicans running in this race, and zero Democrats. I know which Republican I don’t want in the office. She has a D after her name.

So, basically, don’t tell me how to vote and I won’t tell you how to vote. Deal?

              • RE Vanella says:

It’d be a huge fuck you to the Delaware Way for an office with very little political power. It’s strategic.

I don’t necessarily disagree with what you’re saying as a general rule. Anyone who comes on here knows that.

But in the specific set of circumstances there’s a leftist strategic argument for it.

What I end up doing, I don’t know yet.
