Q’s for Tom Carper in lieu of a sit down interview
I said that I was going to write up some questions for Carper but I’m having a bit of a time with it. I have these few, but if anyone wants to help me out in the comments section, I’d be in your debt.
Jason330: Senator, you’ve had a long career of serving your corporate benefactors. For a decent part of that long span of time I imagine you’ve been able to rationalize your zealous support of corporations by thinking that if “the economy improved” your actual humans in Delaware would benefit. So what rationalization are you working with now that your original rationalization has shit the bed so spectacularly?
Jason330: Manchin and Hietkamp have an excuse, but you are the worst “Blue State” Senator by a mile. You vote with Trump more than any other Senator from a state won by Clinton. When it comes to resisting Trump, your track record is utterly execrable. Is it that you don’t view Trump as an emergency situation, you just didn’t give a shit, or you view yourself as politically invincible?
Jason330: I have to think you live in a pretty durable bubble, what with staffers and lobbyists kissing your ass all of the time. Do you have any real sense of how much working Delawareans loathe you and are disgusted by your body of work?
Senator: You have said publicly that you want to ‘make Obamacare better’. You’ve voted against filling the Medicare donut hole, voted against drug reimportation, voted against giving the Federal government the ability to use their negotiating power to secure lower drug prices, and voted against speeding generic drugs to the marketplace.
What ELSE would you propose to do to make Obamacare better?
Submit that one to the News Journal. For real. They’re taking questions from the public.

However, if it’s a general Obamacare question, Kerri will have the ammo to call Carper out as a fraud.
It’s difficult to get the word out. I was biking with some new young (pre 60 lol) transplant friends, liberal, educated and they had no idea there was a primary and who was running. I think I convinced them to vote for Kerri but there’s a lot of people out there like this. Not sure how to reach them .
That’s the candidates job. Hard to do it without money. But she won’t take any from people who have it, so maybe she can buy some TV time with liberal tears?

“Reaching them” is the hard part, it’s right on up there with waking up Trump voters. Carper is an unabashed DINO and has been for decades, as noted he has served the corporations and screwed us over nearly every single time. Same for Chris Coons. There is no fixing these two, they are from the enemy camp no matter what they say.
Kerri and a downstate team opened an office in Sussex about 10 days ago. She stayed down there for 4 days last week. Also an office opened in Kent.
