Tom Carper has only himself to blame

Money for bombs is free and easy to find.  Money for medicare-for-all will break the bank.

The jig is up Tom.

Washington (CNN)Democratic congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez questioned why Republicans are happy to pay for tax cuts and “unlimited war” but the GOP, and some Democrats, don’t see “Medicare-for-all” or other progressive ideas as financially feasible.

“People talk about the sticker shock of Medicare-for-all, but not of our existing system,” Ocasio-Cortez said during an interview on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time.”

“This is not a pipe dream. Every other nation does this — why can’t America?” she added.

Later on the show, Ocasio-Cortez said there’s a certain amount of hypocrisy coming from lawmakers who criticize her platform while ignoring a “$2 trillion check for a GOP tax cut.”

“When it comes to tax cuts for bills and unlimited war,” she said, “we seem to invent that money very easily.”

Tom’s billboard outside of Milton speaks volumes about his level of panic.

Sad truth, we have endless support for endless war in congress and it’s all based on money and corruption. War is a racket here, so are tax cuts for the rich. All of it aided and abetted by a rather stupid and dense electorate. If you ask said electorate about single payer universal healthcare the response is in the mid 60’s for approval, red or blue, and yet it is no closer. Having said that I hope to live long enough to see America pay the price for allowing 40 years of unpaid for deficits, why? We need a damn good lesson, the same sort of lesson Germany and Japan got from W.W. II. It’s coming, as we say downstate “give it time”.

The billboard’s message is all too clear. “Please” is all he’s got left.
