Dover Mayor’s Wife Leading Online Smear Campaign of Sean Lynn – Part 1

Filed in National by on August 10, 2018

Dover Mayor Robin Christiansen’s wife appears to be heading up a Republican smear campaign of Sean Lynn. Cindy Christensen, and a cabal Trumpsits are waging an online war against Lynn, possibly motivated by revenge against Lynn for his role in exposing Christiansen’s malfeasance and corruption during the Chief of Police hiring scandal last February.

The campaign is ongoing and includes an apparent fundraising effort by Cindy Christensen which has resulted in a wave of Republican donations to Lynn’s primary opponent.

More as this story unfolds.

The primary opponent is a closet Republican – BTW. Knowing that it would be impossible for a Trumper to get elected in the general, they Christensen’s prevailed on one to run against Lynn in the primary.

I’m not sure if the candiate is part of the scheme or simply a dupe.

The allegedly Democratic opponent has a campaign contribution from John Sigler!!

The former president of the NRA?!!

The Republican who ran against Kent County Democrat George Sweeney?

  3. Alby says:

Pretending to be a Democrat has worked just fine for Pete Schwartzkopf.

    Among many many others…

  5. Alby says:

He’s the linchpin. Without him the State Police lose one of their thumbs on the scales.

  6. RE Vanella says:

That’s a fact. But the corporate conservative “Democrat” is a cottage industry here in our little shire. And they’re always repping for some disgusting interest.

    Purzycki – Real Estate
    Biden – Banks
    Pistol Pete – the pigs
    Carper – Big Pharma

    etc., etc….

  7. Alby says:

Every one of them reps for the banks. Pharma is disappearing as Astra-Zeneca fades away. The real estate lobby has lots of power over land use in Sussex, and Buccini-Pollin, as the only investor in the city, holds lots of power there.

None of these other interests has the hold on the state that the state police do. They will make sure that Delaware is among the last to legalize marijuana (unless and until one of their cronies reaps the rewards), will be among the last Democratic strongholds to enact gun control, prison reform, and any other topic that touches on the police state.

And, unlike those other special interests, nobody ever speaks out against the state police. Nobody audits the agency to determine where the fat is. Nobody looks at the agency’s preponderance of straight white males; sure, they have a few women and minorities, but how many state cops are LGBT?

They are the definition of a metaphorical sacred cow.

  8. RE Vanella says:

    All true.

I’d have to say, Lynn has done a pretty good job of smearing himself, anti this, anti that, I’m surprised we can still use straws in Delaware. Lynn-s a piece of work, begins losing and starts crying. You’ll see that on line.

  10. RE Vanella says:

    Straws! Haha. Rube trope.

  11. Dan says:

Alby aren’t most voices of formally organized police ( eg Natl Assoc of Chiefs of Police) in favor of gun control?

@Kirk, this is a liberal blog, but you want plastic pollution to continue?
