Filed in National, Open Thread by on August 5, 2018

Did left-wing Hillary haters put Trump in the White House?Andrew O’Hehir says it’s a destructive question with no good answers, but it’s impossible to say they weren’t part of the problem.

Just in case you thought the United States is run by the world’s only thin-skinned autocrat, China has banned the new Disney movie about a grown-up Christopher Robin because president Xi Jinping is sensitive about being compared with Winnie the Pooh. No wonder Trump likes him — he recognizes another insecure asshole when he meets one.

Hillary had high negatives well before the 2016 races were up and running. She lost the election and no one else is responsible.
