Don’t know which insane nutbags this hurts or helps.

She got her ass kicked by Bert Reynolds

Love that the “Qatar – US Economic Forum on April 10” is running ads on this website now.

Amusing on a lot of levels–least of all being that April 10 has come and gone.

But, if some buses being moved off of Rodney square is bad to most of you all, what Qatar’s got going on would be enough to push some of you way over the edge.

Whoever is in charge of selling ad space on this blog might do well to find better advertisers. Its almost as amusing as actually trying to get your hands on the minutes from the Delaware Coalition for Open Government.

Every try to find out much about them? Like minutes, treasurer’s report, results of internal votes (which might be in their minutes if you could ever find the minutes) or a 990? Good luck finding it on their website http://delcog.org/

@TR “Whoever is in charge of selling ad space on this blog might do well to find better advertisers.”

The ads are tailored to the individual. The ads you see says a whole lot more about you than it does about this website.

I’m seeing very different ads (all unappreciated, I might add).

If you don’t like the specific ads you see, think about your own digital footprint…

Maybe Ocean View residents were caught off guard by the recently floated 100% property tax increase.
Does anybody want more without paying for anything than Sussex Countians?

  5. Jason330 says:

Yeah. This could be anything from R on R violence or #me-too. I simply have no idea right now.

  6. liberalgeek says:

I believe that the tax increases were 50%. Their stated goal was to wean themselves off of the transfer tax (a worthy goal).

Teddy, phone your doctor. Then ask a sentient being or young person how the internet works.

  8. mouse says:

Sussex County Council wants the people who live here to pay for the infrastructure and schools for the new transplants coming from states where the property taxes are 5-10 times higher !

  9. liberalgeek says:

Mouse – I’ll believe that when I see it. Sussex County Council has been on the grift for decades.

Also, I don’t think that Sussex County Council does anything for schools. That would be the local district (and the state for infrastructure).

  10. mouse says:

You’re right but it’s dysfunctional that way. When I complain to legislators that they need to protect our statewide/regional recreational bays and natural resources, I’m told that’s a county function. The county mindlessly allows building, deforestation and increases traffic to gridlock while benefiting from the transfer tax yet when I speak to Council about infrastructure they say that’s the state. There’s something perverse about all this.

  11. liberalgeek says:

No argument there. The transfer tax is a big part of the dysfunction. Build more, collect more, no need to tax residents for their part of the social contract.

  12. mouse says:

Yeah, I heard one of the talk radio legislators berate his constituents because they didn’t understand who is responsible for what so he could avoid responsibility and leadership
