“The Bloody Five” Dems Banking the NRA’s Blood Money

Filed in National by on February 24, 2018

There is no excuse for these Democrats. Receiving campaign funds from the radical NRA means that they are, soft on gun crime, and on the side of mass murder.

D Pete Schwartzkopf: $250 – He is going to brazen it out and be his usual asshole self while supporting watered down bullshit.

D Bruce Ennis: $500 – Probably still thinks the NRA is a “sportsmanship” association. It isn’t.

D Nicole Poore: $100 – No idea why she is accepting the NRA’s blood money.

D Andria Bennett: $500 – One of the most bloody, the biggest single NRA donation.

D Larry Mitchell: $200 – A former cop should know better than to support and organization that wants mentally ill to have access to assault weapons.

GIVE. IT. BACK.

  1. I’m tellin’ ya, Andria Bennett could be defeated in a primary even w/o her love for/from the NRA. Her district has lots of Dover city residents. She’s on the wrong side of the district on this issue. And pretty much every other issue.

Maybe we can get Bono to record a fund-raising song for us, “Schwartzkopf, Bloody Schwartzkopf.”

  3. bamboozer says:

“Schwartzkopf, Bloody Schwartzkopf.” Like it, ten points. And now on a more personal level can we flush old man Ennis already? And perhaps take a vow of No More State Cops In The Legislature, they should not be allowed to turn politics to their advantage.

  4. Yikes says:

Can you post a source? Don’t see any checks to Bennett, Mitchell or Poore in the state campaign finance database. Only see $200 total to Schwartzkopf and to Ennis. What am I missing?

  5. Alby says:

If I linked it would just take you back to where you were, unless I’m just failing at linking to an already-filtered list.

Where it asks for the name of the donor, insert Delaware Foundation for Legislative Action. This is the PAC for the DSSA, the state NRA affiliate. I went year by year. You can find more names if you go farther back.

The full list I posted Thursday is here:

  6. Yikes says:

    Got it, thanks!

  7. Andria says:

This morning, I followed Trey’s example and donated the $500 I received from the NRA in 2016 to the Stoneman Douglas Victims Fund.

  8. Faithful Skeptic says:

Schwartzkopf is up on Facebook (via Mitch Crane) as having given the $250 he says he got from the NRA and another $250 to the Stoneman Douglas students’ March for our Lives rally. H

  9. Alby says:

Four down, one to go. Thanks, FS.

  10. Alby says:

Well, actually, I’m wrong. That leaves Mitchell, Ennis and Poore, as originally there were 7.

  11. John Young says:

Ennis’ is same amount but you call Bennett’s largest? Misogyny much?

  12. Alby says:

Ennis’ came in two separate checks. Largest single donation, as in most at one time. I didn’t type out all the separate checks and dates on the DFLA list because it made it hard to read.

But you’re probably right, misogyny. Because what isn’t.

  13. Sweet. Delaware Liberal is a power house.

  14. RE Vanella says:

Ennis sold out to the gun fetishist cult for 500 bucks. Maybe one day you’ll get off the corner and do out calls only. High end stuff.
