Trump’s act wearing thin?

Filed in National by on February 6, 2018

In a recent speech in Cincinnati, the Manchurian Pumpkin said that the Democrat’s “Bad Energy” during the State of the Union speech was “Anti-American” and “treasonous.” That bit of craziness made the headlines, even though it is not news that Trump believes that he is the state.

For me, the news is the crowd reaction. Watch this clip and take a look at the MAGA fans used as set dressing. Listen to the crowd. They aren’t the foaming at the mouth zombies Trump normally has lapping up his bullshit.

Like most addicts, they are developing a tolerance (HAH) to their drug. I suspect as Bobby-M closes in, Grand Leader will start actually trying to prosecute dems for treason. Should be fun.

  2. jason330 says:

When he does, and I agree he will. I’m sure we’ll see a lot of elected Dems vying to be the most bi-partsian motherfuckers of all time.

“Manchurian Pumpkin”, 10 points and the emoji of your choice. And as ever complete lack of knowledge of what constitutes treason by Trump who has never read the document. I live out in the sticks to some extent and meet a great many Trumpistas in my work as a musician. Knew that it would painfully slow but that at some point some would grudgingly wake up, by their humble standards of course.

Chris Coons will be the first to agree that Sen Warren should be locked up…. ya know, for bipartisanship.

Tangentially related to Trump’s act (specifically SOTU rando call-outs) here is the joke of the day:

“If MS-13 kills me do not let them use me as a prop in some Republican racist speech. And in lieu of flowers donate your money to MS-13.”

    This goes for me also.

Ben and everyone, the most reliable way to analyse tRump is to assume EVERYTHING he says is a projection.

  7. Paul says:

When a person projects, he let’s slip an unconscious awareness of what is going on within himself. When tRump starts using the word “treason” it is the signal that he is aware of his own treasonous behavior on a pre-conscious level.

  8. jason330 says:

I’m not sure you can apply normal cause and effect to a sociopath like Trump.

  9. Paula says:

Just watched that clip without sound. The guys behind him mainly just look bored. The reaction to the treason remark was nervous laughter by one, and just nervousness by the rest. That’s what it looked like to me. Also, why was he even talking about that for such a long time? He has nothing substantive to say. I really wish an interviewer would ask an open-ended question about a substantive issue and keep pressing the question on substance. Then it would be shown who is the empty barrel in the White House.

  10. Alby says:

This is not snark: He thinks he’s doing a stand-up act.

  11. SussexAnon says:

He was just the warm up act. Everyone in attendance was just waiting for the headliner: a CEO announcing that the plant is closing and to pack their shit and get out.

“Lowest employment” for blacks and Hispanics is not way to win over ‘dey took r jobs’ white people.
