El Somnambulo Brings The Zydeco For Mardi Gras Weekend!

Filed in Arts and Entertainment by on January 30, 2018

That’s right. A hed like that can only mean one thing:

Symphony Steve Tanzer is pushing yet another upcoming concert. But WAIT, don’t leave just yet.  After all, what better way to celebrate Mardi Gras Weekend than with the band that No Depression calls “the best zydeco in the land”?

Nathan & the Zydeco Cha-Chas, from St. Martinsville, Louisiana, will fill the dance floor at the Arden Gild Hall on Friday, Feb. 9.  Which does not mean that you must spend the entire night on your feet. Oh, no. We’ll have seats, but if/when you wish to get out of them to shimmy around to some zydeco, you’ll have ample opportunity.  Hey, maybe burn off enough calories to enjoy another slice of King Cake (Sweet Baby Jesus!).

While tickets are $20 for Arden Club members and $25 for non-members, by the power vested in me by the Arden Concert Gild, I’m gonna let you have ’em for $20 apiece.  Why? (a) I like you and/or (b) I’m desperate. You decide.

Just drop a line to the tipline if you’d like to come and I’ll reserve your seats at the box office, or you can check out ardenconcerts.com.

What’s that? What does the band sound like? They sound like this:
