Johnson, who will leave his post as Deputy Legal Counsel for the Office of the Governor tomorrow, has also previously worked in the City of Wilmington Law Department, MSZL&M, and Clemente Mueller PA. A life-long Democrat, Johnson lives in the City of Wilmington with his wife, Kate, and serves as the Vice-Chair of the City’s Democratic Party. Additionally, Johnson sits on the executive committee for the Delaware State Bar Association and Board of Directors for the Delaware Center for Justice.

WHAT: Campaign Kick-Off and Career Advancement Workshop. Volunteer services include resume writing/review, mock interviews, GED information session, and voter registration. With re-entry being a focus of Chris’ campaign, the Career Advancement Workshop places an emphasis on the services that could be most helpful for those reentering society after having served time.

WHEN: Saturday, January 27, 2018

  • Campaign Kick-Off: 12:00pm – 12:30pm
  • Career Advancement Workshop: 12:30pm – 3:00pm

WHERE: Police Athletic League (PAL) of Wilmington, 3707 Market St., Wilmington, DE 19802

I have been told by people who I respect that Johnson will emerge as the progressive candidate in the race.  He opposes the death penalty, and he will place emphasis on ‘re-entry into society’ for those who have served their time. We’ll see.

If the stars align, I plan to be present for the kick-off and will report back.
