Voters Continue to Oust Republicans Whenever Presented the Opportunity

Voters have three words for the radicalized, Trumpified GOP. Those words are: FUCK, THIS, & SHIT.

Wisconsin Dems Flip GOP Held State Senate Seat

In an upset victory, Democrats flipped a reliably Republican state senate seat in Wisconsin tonight. Barack Obama lost Wisconsin’s 10th senate district by 6 points in 2012 and Hillary Clinton lost it by 17 in 2016. But Democrat Patty Schachtner defeated Republican state Rep. Adam Jarchow. Late returns showed Schachtner ahead by roughly 1600 votes out of more than 20,000 cast.

I’m beginning to think that if the Delaware Democrats run against every Republican in every race, they have a good shot at beating every Delaware Republican in every race.

I am just hoping we see genuine grassroots opposition contesting every single race across the nation. Virginia was a blueprint for what can be accomplished when you don’t accept the current wisdom of “experts” who saw no upside to wasting money in races that couldn’t be won.

  2. jason330 says:

Amen to that. We aren’t winning these races because the Professional Dems have some secret sauce. They clearly do not.

    It is a civilian revolt.

  3. Brian says:

LBR was one of 55 House Dems & Mr. Carper was one of 19 Senate Dems who just voted to give Trump more spying powers while blocking safeguards on how he can use them.

    Oust-away.

  4. Ben says:

This is exactly why this is the time to primary out Carper. ANY democrat will win.

  5. jason330 says:

Let’s not live in a dream world.
It will cost someone $10,000 to register of that primary. Only serious candidates will apply and no serious candidate is going to take on Carper.

  6. jason330 says:

That said, I hope I’m wrong. There are plenty of people out there who are aware of how terrible Carper is. I think a challenger would have a built in base.

An enterprising newcomer could have a shot.

  7. RE Vanella says:

I agree with the 2nd comment. Know hope.

  8. Ben says:

    Fuck that, RE.
Know anger, know action. Hope is for naive 2008 progressives.

  9. RE Vanella says:

You’re missing my point, but that’s not your fault. I’m being purposely vague.

    I agree with you.

If this feminist uprising were really about getting rid of toxic men, a woman would step forward to challenge him, wouldn’t you think? Women would be so outraged by his conduct that they could raise $10,000 on Go Fund Me.

Consider this your periodic reminder that this movement is about getting rid of certain toxic men, and being chosen has little to do with the level of toxicity.

The battery dog has scant bark and no teeth. Not here anyway. I think that has been established. Anyway, there is plenty in his voting record to be appalled by.

    Funny you should mention….

$10K to file for a senate run. I could come up with 1500.00

“An enterprising newcomer could have a shot.”

Would that be the Castle doctrine?
