WDEL Gets The KHN Harassment Report

Filed in Delaware, Featured by on December 13, 2017

Great hed on Amy Cherry’s must-read piece: “Do You Need To Call Your Mommy?”

I know it’s not politic to say so, but NCC Council President Karen Hartley-Nagle appears to be mentally and emotionally unfit to hold office.  Her personal skills don’t seem to have advanced beyond the petulance of adolescence.

She’s costing the taxpayers a ton of money due to her lack of fitness to hold office. And she’s created, by virtually all accounts, a toxic workplace environment.

We don’t have ‘recall’ in Delaware, but I wonder if there’s some way to remove her from office. Her behavior is not going to change, unless it gets even worse.

I find her actions just as egregious as many of the sexual harrassment allegations. We don’d have recall but where is Tom Craper calling for her to resign to help his own state. Where are others calling her out to resign

  2. Delusional people like KHN don’t respond to people calling for them to resign.

You forgot “intellectually unfit” and “unqualified.”

  4. Didn’t want to pile on…but why not?

  5. Alby says:

The basic problem here is that Ms. Hartley-Nagle has never held an office job working for a company who hired her for her abilities; every job she has held of which I’m aware has been acquired through cronyism. She has no clue what a professional office environment is supposed to be like.

Problem is that it is nearly impossible to get rid of a corrupt politician (like on Wilm City Council) or nut (as in the case here) unless you have a recall process….otherwise you have to wait until the next election, which can be several years away.

  7. Tonydem says:

Dems need someone with a private sector professional background that hasn’t served or worked in county politics/government to step up and primary her so we can clean up this mess. There’s absolutely no way she resigns.

Tired of the political disasters we witness so often in County government.

The bushes will not require beating. There will be no shortage of primary opponents.

maybe the Park City will see an opp to get elected and move up here

Y’all need to come and get your girl.

All of the above criticisms sound like they are valid based on the report, but this wasn’t a FOIA request, someone must have leaked that report. Childishness on both sides and the taxpayers picking up the tab.

  12. If taxpayers are picking up the tab, they should get to see the report they paid for.
