Will Trump Survive Tell-All ‘Fire and Fury’?

Consider this an early New Year’s present: On Jan. 9, Henry Holt will publish Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” which Axios says has set off a frenzy among White House players wanting to know what it says about them.

Wolff is a polarizing figure and not the world’s most accurate journalist, but he’s known Trump for years and has been a frequent visitor to the White House, where he claims to have roamed unsupervised at times. From all reports we’ve heard of the chaos in the West Wing, I doubt anything he saw will surprise us, but there already were reports that scores of staffers were only waiting until the new year to give notice. After this hits Amazon, the administration might fall apart for lack of staffing.
