Trifecta: The NFL, Mediocre Pizza and Trump
I dislike all three, so I’m a winner no matter who loses.
This starts with the mediocre pizza made by jock-sniffing conservative pizza magnate “Papa” John Schnatter. He caused a stir the other day by criticizing the National Football League — kind of a dick move considering Papa John’s is the NFL’s official pizza. The league, he said, showed poor leadership by not nipping the anthem protests in the bud 18 months ago. If this sounds familiar, know that Schnatter is a Trump supporter.
Backlash against his criticism came quickly and from various quarters, but at least there’s a silver lining for Schnatter: The racists at the Daily Stormer want to adopt Papa John’s as the official pizza of the alt-right. Don’t spill tomato sauce on your sheets, boys!
I’ve never (knowingly) had John Schnatter’s crappy chain store pizza . Yuengling & Sons beer also. Fuck those right wing fuckers.
