Why is there all this sudden outrage re: the hollywood sexual harassment? The industry is the one that started the term ‘casting couch’. This has been the basis of the abuse of ‘bright eyed girls from the heartland’ for years. And all those years of everyone being hush hush about it, they are all just as complicit as the harvey weinsteins of the industry. Your question is, of course, rhetorical. So many people have finally spoken up about this silent scourge that it is silent no more. I love how these ‘powerful’ men all cast themselves as victims when in fact, they were criminals and serial victimizers who bought their way out of justice for decades.
I suspect there will be many more powerful shoes to drop, and soon. It’s open season on these bastards.
