Delaware City Man Charged With Hate Crime.  Good news? The (alleged) hater of Muslims had to surrender his guns. Bad news? He’s been released on bail.

The Corporate Enabling Of Bill O’Reilly…And Other Serial Sexual Predators.  I don’t give a bleep what company it is–if they create an atmosphere that promotes sexual misconduct, they need to be called out and boycotted.

Details Make Writing Tax Bill–Um, Challenging. Especially some of Trump’s promises.  He says your 401(k) won’t be touched. Rethugs want to touch your 401(k).

How Retailers Are Fighting The Amazon-Whole Foods Merger.  Bricks and mortar is (are?) a whole ‘nother business. Lease protections are a weapon.

The Staten Island Guy Who Hosted Russian Troll Farm Websites. A good look into how Russian propaganda is circulated here.

The Travel Ban Judge Knows His Stuff. Whether it survives the radical bent of the Supreme Court remains in question, but his analysis is compelling.

What do you want to talk about?

Ok, kids we need some help down here in swamps of Sussex County. Rob Arlett (spit) is introducing a right to work county ordinance. Sussex county is already a right to pay slave wages county with some of the lowest mean wages anywhere. This opportunistic vile maggot is pandering for higher office. Anything you can do to help or let people know would be appreciated.

  2. Bob Corker tells Trump to stay the hell out of tax reform. Twitter war:

“Same untruths from an utterly untruthful president”

  3. Arthur says:

Why is there all this sudden outrage re: the hollywood sexual harassment? The industry is the one that started the term ‘casting couch’. This has been the basis of the abuse of ‘bright eyed girls from the heartland’ for years. And all those years of everyone being hush hush about it, they are all just as complicit as the harvey weinsteins of the industry. Oh, and dont forget about good ol bill cosby. he’s now back page news

  4. No he’s not. He’d probably be in a Final Four of Sexual Predators, along with Weinstein, Trump, and O’Reilly.

Your question is, of course, rhetorical. So many people have finally spoken up about this silent scourge that it is silent no more. I love how these ‘powerful’ men all cast themselves as victims when in fact, they were criminals and serial victimizers who bought their way out of justice for decades.

I suspect there will be many more powerful shoes to drop, and soon. It’s open season on these bastards.

  5. alby says:

@mouse: So your fellow SuxCo residents are enamored of a Realtor so stupid that he almost lost his house because he bought at the height of the market. Sounds about right.

Retiring in SuxCo is a fool’s bargain.

  6. alby says:

“Why is there all this sudden outrage re: the hollywood sexual harassment?”

The outrage has always been there. What’s sudden is that it’s now making its way out into the public sphere.

Your question also translates into, “Why have women suddenly stopped dealing silently with this kind of male behavior?”

I don’t want to speak for the women, but I think it boils down to “We’re sick of this shit and we’re done putting up with it.”

  7. Interesting speculation about Arlett. Apparently, some SuxCo Rethugs are unhappy that Sen. Richardson isn’t right-wing enough for them, and they might mount a primary challenge. Don’t know if Arlett is in his district but, if so, he could be their guy.

  8. mouse says:

Mostly selfish cheapskate Yankee tax refugees who move into grey ugly plastic treeless over priced houses and vote against school referendums

  9. Dr. Williams Leaving DSU: University’s President will head the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. This is a major appointment and I think reflects the respect that Dr. Williams has earned during his career:

  10. alby says:

@mouse: My ass. Yankees aren’t the stupid conservatives. It’s the Virginia transplants who are dragging that county down to their level.

  11. mouse says:

    I’ll take a recount

  12. alby says:

@mouse: I admit I’m not down there much anymore, but I know some of the bull goose idiots like Ayotte weren’t outnumbered rednecks from up north but ex-military numbnuts from down south.

  13. Tom Kline says:

Where’s the going away party for Seth Williams being held?

  14. alby says:

    Wrong blog, clown.

  15. JTF says:

I’ve said this before but why does Collin O’Mara say he lives in Delaware when his wife is running for Governor of Maryland and he is the CEO of the National Wildlife Federation which is in DC?

I mean, cmon. I know LBR did it out of Maine but give me a break.

  16. Is Collin O’Mara running for something? If not, who the fuck cares?

Besides, do you have any proof that he doesn’t live in Delaware? Do you think that he voted illegally?

I mean, all the things to worry about…you worry about THIS?

  17. JTF says:

I’m just a worry wart like that I guess. Don’t let the pearls get too tight around your neck as you clutch them. Wouldn’t want to hurt yourself.

And I never said he voted illegally. But that’s interesting you mentioned it.
