Bad Day For GOP

Filed in National by on September 26, 2017

Two breaking stories even before Roy Moore beats Big Luther Strange tonight:

GOP Won’t Even Vote On Graham/Cassidy.

Sen. Corker of Tennessee Will Retire.  R nominee will almost certainly be to the right of Corker. Possibly far to the right of Corker.  Possibly putting Tennessee into play for D’s.

It’s Tennessee, dude. The Nazis gain a seat for sure.

  2. So far the (all things are relative) moderates have held off Tea Party challengers.

BTW, as long as I’ve mentioned Papa John’s, it must be said that shameless shill Peyton Manning’s name has been bandied about. Don’t delude yourselves into thinking it can’t happen. He has just the type of asshole quotient that Rethugs want.

“He is so crazy, even a Democrat can beat him” isn’t a winning strategy.

Somewhat baffled by the news coverage of the Moore win. There is simply no way this ‘hurts” Trump.

  5. I agree. Trump’s Alabama appearance was obligatory at best. Even said he might have made a mistake in supporting Strange. Even said the media would blame Trump if Strange lost, totally inoculating himself.

Moore was Trump before Trump was Trump. With a single-minded and simple-minded focus on ‘GOD’.

If Trump wasn’t the Dems’ Pelosi, Moore would be the Dems’ Pelosi. Someone to roll out to scare the shit out of the base.

Not sure I understand…. 2010 was slaughter for moderates at the hands of the TP…. 16 moderates fell to Dump head last year.

Ya know, I’m really thinking I could be elected to the US Senate. I’m starting an exploratory committee to primary Carper.

And I bet with a cowboy outfit like that, I could get all the boys in Rehoboth working for my campaign
