Trump now has a secret plan to make Mexico pay for the wall

President Donald Trump on Monday conceded that the United States may fund his proposed wall on the U.S.-Mexico, but insisted that Mexico will “ultimately” pay for his proposed physical barrier.
“One way or the other, Mexico is going to pay for the wall. That’s right. It may be through reimbursement, but one way or the other Mexico will pay for the wall,” Trump said at a joint press conference with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö.
He said Mexico “is being reluctant” to pay because the nation has “had one of the sweetest deals for years.”
“We need the wall, it’s imperative. We may fund it through the United States, but ultimately Mexico will pay for the wall,” Trump said.
He did not specify how that would happen.

What does it say about the American electorate that anyone still believe or backs Trump? A major failure of democracy, we handed the keys to the nation to a con man who has no knowledge, no ability and is prone to incessant lies. “The beautiful wall” is a bad joke, and we all damn well know it.

Trump is the American electorate’s fault. It is a consequence of GOTV efforts that measures performance by the simple act of voting, without regard to what and whom one is voting for. “I voted” lollipops makes everyone feel good even when they didn’t have a clue what or whom they were voting for and with little to no comprehension of the issues and candidates. It is no mistake that sound bites and labels now substitute for policy analysis. Trump played the electorate for fools and the fools bought it. Both parties apparatchik gave the people nice little buttons to push, one for R and one for D, and the people used them. Amazon’s Dash buttons do the same thing, no shopping required, just press the button. The parties sowed this field. Now we reap our just rewards.
