‘Sinister’ Sebastian Gorka Gets Walking Papers.  Kelly wanted him out.  He’s out.  Another despicable piece of work. Reports suggest that Kelly revoked Gorka’s security clearance while Gorka was on vacation.

‘Trump’s Flagrant Friday Night News Dump’.  Pardons Arpaio, directs Pentagon to ban transgendered people from military, and shows Gorka the door.

About That Transgender Ban…:  Hey, it’s just another reversal of something Obama did. The courts beckon.

Feckless Carney Leaves Labor Secretary In Limbo.  The name ‘Nicole Poore’ is not mentioned. But she is pushing her weight around.  A walking conflict-of-interest.  Senators express puzzlement, but I think most of them know what’s going on. R’s say they’d vote for her. Why won’t John nominate her? BTW, John? DeLuca is not an expert on anything save his own self-interest. And paying his paramour twice for work she didn’t do once.

Why Houston Isn’t Ready For Harvey. If you guessed rampant overdevelopment, you’d be correct.

Nazis, Fearing Dog Poop, Cancel Rally.  A different kind of smear campaign.

Harvey’s Potential For Long-Term Devastation. Yes, a dysfunctional National Flood Insurance Program could be one of the reasons.

What do you want to talk about?

Before the election, all media perseverated on Trump. After the election, all media are perseverating on Trump. Cut it out!!!

While you are perseverating, the folks of this nation need ideas about how to provide access to medical treatment that is universal and not usurious. Americans who do not work for the government or a large corporation are in terrible straights vis-a-vis healthcare.

For example, my brother is a tradesman, a private contractor. How is he supposed to afford the enormous costs of an individual policy? Why do we relegate all like him to be in a contract with an insurance company that costs thousands a month and is going up in cost almost daily? We need a way aggregate large pools of patients to spread the cost. And profit? Why, in medicine? How can we expect a greedy human to do the right thing and ignore the opportunites to profit just by screwing over a prospective patient, denying them coverage to maximize profit? This is a problem we face as a nation, and the conversation I am hearing has nothing to do with finding a solution that benefits the public good. We are a merchantile nation, but a sick and dying merchantile nation can not stand. We must assure we are healthy as a national priority.

Where did you get the idea that it’s the media’s job to set the agenda? This has never been true.

Further, the notion that people shouldn’t talk about Trump and should instead talk about health care is a pretty stupid one. There are lots of ways we could move forward on health care, but the party that thinks we should move backwards controls all branches of government. The notion that somehow “we” (Delaware Liberal) will either solve the health care situation or that, if we somehow did, anyone else would notice is absurd in the extreme.

Instead of telling everyone else how they should behave, maybe you should learn how to stop bleeding all over the place.

Yeah I can see how what I wrote might cause you think that I think the media sets the agenda. They don’t, should not. We do, if we’re smart.

After that, your “critique” degerates into simple bashing. You’ve been doing this for 41 years? Why?
