Sen. Corker Diplomatically Says It: Trump Unfit to Be President.  Calls for ‘radical change’ at the White House. I stand by my prediction: Trump will not be President by December 31, 2017.

A Double-Secret Vote Dealing With Karen Hartley-Nagle?  I can’t make this up.  NCC Council voted on something dealing with Karen Hartley-Nagle and perhaps her administrative aide, or maybe it was just about codifying a powdered donut policy, but won’t say what they voted on. Maybe they put KHN on double-secret probation. How the bleep can a public body take a secret vote on anything?

Those ‘Beautiful Statues’ And Monuments’ Trump Talks About.  Mostly built after Plessy v Ferguson (1896) legalized segregation as a stick in the collective eye of non-racists. One of the statues torn down recently was that of Roger Taney, a Supreme Court justice who upheld slavery in the Dred Scott decision. That’s a monument to racism.  Besides, as the Vice article points out, Trump’s dedication to preserving ‘beautiful monuments’ does not extend to Trump.

Genetic Testing Befuddles White Supremacists. Is anything less than 100% white white enough for haters? What to do, what to do? (Hint: Call it fake science.)

Sheetcaking. The only logical response.

ACLU Won’t Defend Hate Groups Protesting With Firearms. A reasonable change to their policy. Those protesting with firearms violate the First Amendment rights of others.

Major Market Correction Coming? A key indicator says yes.  While market is at all-time highs, more stocks are hitting lows than highs. Since 1972, this has been an almost a dead-certain predictor of a sell-off. Who will Trump blame?

What do you want to talk about?

    All those white supremacists are mud bloods! They’re muggles!

    That type of vote happens frequently when dealing with personnel issues. “motion to approve the recommendation of the director pertaining to employee b.” it’s a copout, but until someone files a lawsuit in Chancery, it’ll remain. Denn isn’t going to take the initiative and flip that.

    @arthur: LOL.

    OTOH, those tests aren’t as accurate as they pretend to be, mainly because there is no standard “Eastern European” or any other ethnic genome.

  4. Paul Hayes says:

    “One of the statues torn down recently was that of Roger Taney”. I object to the use of the term “torn down” relative to this event. No “tearing down” occurred. What occured was a legal removal of a statue to a storage facility. “Taken down” yes, “torn down” no. Are we not already suffering enough from the truth of the last week? We don’t need to gussie the truth for added effect.

  5. NCC Council acted illegally when refusing to tell the public what their vote was in Ex. Session. Any action taken in secret must be made public is how FOIA law works.

    Unlike what was given to Carney’s new Business Roundtable DEDO P3, the legislature has never waived FOIA law for NCC Council.

    Write an email today to your council rep. and tell them to stop breaking the law.

    What if the vote was only about her aide. Would it be still FOIA ,it would be under personal correct ? Just saying. Cannot wait until Meyers leaves next year. You will not have to wait until FOIA then. lol
