Crooked Baltimore Cops Caught on Tape Planting Evidence

Filed in National by on August 2, 2017

The FOP should be outraged, and all cops everywhere should be calling for these Baltimore police to be jailed. I’m not holding my breath.

Baltimore police spent 30 minutes searching a car for drugs but found nothing—until they turned off their body cameras.
When the cameras turned back on, one cop was seen squatting next to the driver’s side where another officer immediately found drugs.
Police arrested two people in the apparent drug bust. But police might have been betrayed by their own body cameras, the public defender’s office announced Monday. Apparently unbeknownst to the officers, the cameras were rolling when one officer squatted in front of the empty driver’s seat.

I saw this in the Baltimore Sun a week or so ago. Probably just a “few bad apples” right?

  2. State attorneys have already dropped 41 cases dependent on the testimony of these cops, with scores more being investigated:

  3. jason330 says:

There was a second incident within a week. I don’t see the video on youtube yet, but it is egregious.

  4. mouse says:

Fox News will be defending the crooked cops tonight

  5. Andy says:

The laws are probably written in such a way that they won’t get prosecuted either

  6. Rusty Dils says:

Actual serious question. Have any of you yourselves actually watched “Hillary’s America, the secret history of the Democratic party,” in its entirety?

  7. jason330 says:

If that’s an “actual serious question”, why am I laughing?

  8. Rusty Dils says:

But seriously, did any of you watch it. The reason I ask is because I don’t think you have. And I believe that without any Democrats watching it, going forward I think you have virtually no chance of any national political office Gaines. If you watched the complete movie you would understand that your Russian connection hoax is just not going to work. Denish Desouza is articulating better than any Republican ever has, why the lives of the down trodden have not gotten better and will not get better under Democrat control. However, by closing your eyes to this reality, you are forfeiting any chance to take corrective action. It’s like if I’m coaching a team in the super bowl, but never pay attention to the real reason they are good. I’m going to lose! Denish Desouza is becoming well known. I would not suggest ignoring him!

  9. jason330 says:

When Denish Desouza isn’t making illegal campaign contributions, he is busy ripping off gullible conservatives with his whack-ass films. He is also 56 and looks to be about 116 lbs. If he was coaching a Super Bowl team, I’d take the other team 100 out of 100 times.

  10. Rusty Dils says:

But you still have not answered the question. Have you watched the movie, yes or no?

  11. RE Vanella says:

Did we watch the demented propoganda of an adulterous felon that’s in the same genre as Loose Change the 9/11 Truthers “film”?

    No, we haven’t.

I did see Dunkirk last week. Excellent.

  12. Rusty Dils says:

Vanilla, so you formed an opinion without seeing it. I am a conservative, but I interact on liberal and conservative blogs. I believe by doing so in the end I am better informed. Anyway, even though much of the movie won’t be your cup of tea, you will still come away with a much better understanding of why your party has been spilling oil and losing so much political power in the last 8 years. And, it has Zero to do with Russia, but you already knew that.

  13. puck says:

Those crooked Baltimore cops would be in a lot less legal jeopardy if they had just shot those guys instead of framing them.

  14. Yeah, Rusty, if only we would watch propaganda, we’d be much better informed. Oh, and we’d be more likely to be elected. Or something.

There’s a difference between a film being someone’s ‘cup of tea’ (I can’t believe I’m wasting time stating the obvious) and being such blatant propaganda that it doesn’t deserve either a viewing or a mention here.

In other words, no one answered your question b/c it doesn’t deserve answering.

Oh, and this is off-topic here.

  15. RE Vanella says:

You consider what you do interacting? That’s good to know. All these years I didn’t know what to call it.

  16. Rusty Dils says:

Bulo, none of you know why you lost in 2016. None of you know why you have lost so many governrships, or state legislatures, or majorities in both U.S. House and Senate, and that’s why you keep losing. But I do know. And I have known since I started blogging here in 2009. Your cocky answers would almost be justified if your party was not getting massacred, but it is. You could better understand why your losing, and hence have a better chance of winning if you would watch the movie. But you won’t, so I offer condolences for election night 2018, and 2020.

  17. Rusty Dils says:

Blatant propaganda, so Bulo, you are saying you have seen the movie. Cause if not you are pretending you know what’s in the movie without seeing it, how is that possible?

  18. alby says:

“Denish Desouza is becoming well known. I would not suggest ignoring him!”

Dinesh D’Souza peaked in the Bush years; he’s not “becoming” well known. He’s best known these days for having been discredited in a number of ways, including his guilty plea to a felony and having been outed introducing a woman as his “fiancee” when he was married.

Why in the name of Christ would I care about a hit piece on a has-been politician? And why would I want to cater to the kind of melon-headed meat puppet who watches such shit?

“you are pretending you know what’s in the movie without seeing it, how is that possible?”

    It’s called reading.

  19. RE Vanella says:

Rusty – What did you think of Triumph of the Will? Such a strong message. Riefenstahl was a brilliant filmmaker.

The same could have been written about the Republicans in 2009, and even today, there are a lot of Republican voters who are urinated off at the performance of the Republicans in office

There is one real similarity: the activists in both parties are further to the extremes than the elected leadership, and neither well understand the voters closer to the political center. Right now, it’s Republicans who have done the better job in persuading those in the center to vote for them, and were I to guess, I’d say that the center-right is larger than the center-left. Fortunately for Republicans, the left have concentrated themselves into much smaller geographical areas, which reduces their voting strength in congressional and state legislative districts.

At some point, the Democrats are going to have to come up with new players. Hillary Clinton was 69 on election day, and if that still made her a year younger than Donald Trump, he was new on the scene as a politician while she had been a potential and actual presidential candidate ever since 2000. When Her Inevitableness ran in 2008, she was beaten by the newcomer Barack Obama, and when Her Inevitableess tried again in 2016, she was again beaten by a newcomer. In every non-incumbent presidential contest since 2000, and less establishment candidates also won in 1976, 1980 and 1992. Only the elder George Bush won as the more establishment candidate, in 1988, and then he got beaten by Bill Clinton for re-election.

Looking past Mrs Clinton to 2020, you’ve got Bernie Sanders, who will be 79 on election day, and Joe Biden, who will be a much more sprightly 77.

The GOP has its own problems along those lines, just not as badly as the Democrats.

  22. alby says:

@Dana: True, but it doesn’t change the fact that many on the right are having difficulty giving up their punching bag. Since they don’t know how to actually run anything, it’s all they have left.

  23. anonymous redux says:

rusty thinks desouza is an up and comer just like trump thinks frederick douglass is. this is because he’s stupid. stupidity is what trump depends on. it’s cute you think you’re “interacting.” I can interact with a thoughtful conservative, but not with a stupid person, which leaves out most (not all) of the trump voters.

“triumph of the will” is a pretty good movie aesthetically, but a dunce like rusty would come away from it excited about that new right-wing party, the nazis.

also, we have plenty of debate within our own ranks about why the democrats have been losing. no need for recommendations from the stupid.

  24. Rusty Dils says:

I’ll close with this. No one has been able to prove any of the information laid out in the movie Hillary’s America, the secret history of the Democratic Party, is not completely factual and accurate. Not one word of the movie has been proven inaccurate or false, not one word!

  25. alby says:

The biggest problem with the movie is that none of what it says — other than his claims to know HIllary Clinton’s motives and goals, all of which is pure ficiton — is the least bit secret. At the time of the Civil War and until the Civil Rights era, the Democrats were the segregationists in the South. Wow, big secret.

If there’s one thing America’s racists have insisted upon throughout history, it’s that they are not racists. But Mr. D’Souza has long since shown himself a liar (a fabulist, if you prefer) and a dupe.

For your reading enjoyment, here’s Roger Ebert’s review of the “documentary”:

    http://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/hillarys-america-the-secret-history-of-the-democratic-party-2016

  26. RE Vanella says:

For the record, Roger Ebert is deceased. The review was written on the website that bears his name by Peter Sobczynski who still walks the earth.

    Good review though.

  27. RE Vanella says:

Dinesh D’Souza is Werner Herzog for the dim witted.

  28. anonymous redux says:

also for the record: I spelled D’Souza’s name wrong. I should have known. I spelled it the way rusty did.

  29. Dana says:

    alby wrote:

Well, I’d agree that some on the right still love to hammer at Mrs Clinton. But the majority of Trump voters — the ones not constantly on Twitter — don’t really care about Mrs Clinton any more, and are more concerned about bringing back jobs, stopping illegal immigration and fixing Obysmalcare.

  30. alby says:

    “Bringing back jobs”

That never works. Some of the jobs I held no longer exist because of technological advances. I don’t expect someone to “bring them back.”

    “Stopping illegal immigration”

Yawn. Most overblown “problem” in the US.

    “and fixing Obysmalcare.”

Sure. The way Republicans cared about the American health care system in the first place was to do nothing for 60 years and just let the various interest groups fight it out — you know, the “free market” at work. It brought us a system twice as expensive as every other, but hey, it was PHILOSOPHICALLY sound. The sticky-fingered bastards who run your party care more about that than other humans. Their concern for humans extends right up to the point where they have to pay a penny more for it than they want to.

So you’ll have to forgive me if I don’t buy that they suddenly care about “fixing” it. They only care about it because they’re the ones on the hook for it. And their solution is the only one they know — see if they can stick someone else with their bill.

  31. Jason330 says:

Trump and Fox News are obsessed with Clinton (because it feels so good to dance to the oldies when reality becomes painful), so the brain dead idiots known as Trump voters will soon be all up in arms about Clinton in …three…. two… one.

Even if brain dead idiots known as Trump voters are currently concerned with reopening the typewriter factory in town that closed in 1975.
