Blevins Is Out As Director of Office of Animal Welfare.  Glad to see that cronyism is being put under a microscope. Keep it coming.  However, Greg Lavelle gets it wrong as usual:

“This hire was a case of the fox watching the henhouse from the start.” he said.

No, Monsignor, people heading agencies they seek to destroy are foxes guarding henhouses. See: Every appointment that Trump has made. Or, to point out something even you can understand: Priests protecting pedophile priests instead of the vulnerable flocks. Asshole.

Virtually ALL Football Players Suffer From Head Trauma.  I think that Albydamned may be right: Football could be extinct within, say, 30 years.

First Obamacare Repeal Bill Goes Down In Flames. 9 R’s voted no.  ‘America’s Conscience’, John McCain, voted yes. Phony.  Proof that you can be a war hero and still be a phony.

But Here’s What They’re Likely To Pass.   So-called ‘skinny repeal’. They will betray their country, no matter what they might say. They do it all the time. The national Republican Party is a criminal enterprise.

Bill Browder’s Must-Read Testimony.  This will fill in a lot of knowledge gaps about Russian sanctions and the phony ‘orphan’ meme.

Will McConnell Prevent Trump Recess Appointment? I’m betting no b/c he’s McConnell.  But he can and he should.

What do you want to talk about?

I don’t know if it is the Eagles, the NFL, or me – but I’ve never been less interested in football than I am today.

Team sports could cease to exist tomorrow and I’d never know it. As for McCain I prefer Astounding Hypocrite, phony is much too polite. At some point the Republicans will pass something awful and proclaim victory (and of course more “winning”), question is will they pay the price in 2018. This time, because it’s healthcare, I think they will pay a price and perhaps a big one at that.

Nick Foles is an Eagle again? I guess I am a football Rumplestiltskin.

  4. ckars says:

The Browder testimony is a must read, especially in the context of the Trump family follies. It is chilling.

  5. Yep. Fake news it’s not.

  6. chris says:

Here is some real news: How about Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s IT Director trying to flee the US for bank fraud? That’s some crazy story. They caught the guy trying to leave the country. Arrested and charged…wonder where this one leads? Maybe just ripping off unsuspecting House members.

  7. alby says:

@chris: Really? I should give a shit about theft on that level after reading the Browder testimony? It always seems that the less we know about a story, the more excited you are about it.

Meanwhile, Browder’s testimony is shocking but not surprising. It seems to support what I have always suspected — the Russian connection is about money more than political power, and the election of Trump was incidental to the actual goals of protecting Putin’s and Trump’s criminally-amassed fortunes.

  8. meatball says:

Not really understanding why this guy is labeled an aide. He was the IT guy. But DWS behavior is a little suspicious, too.

  9. Tom Kline says:

Another liberal posing as a Democrat double dipping. Disgusting.

    Hot damn.

    http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/344038-gop-senator-forces-dems-to-vote-on-single-payer

Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) wants Democrats to show their cards on single-payer.

The GOP senator has filed an amendment to implement a government-funded healthcare system in a political maneuver aimed at forcing Democrats to say whether or not they support the concept that is picking up steam on the left.

A vote on the amendment has been scheduled for Thursday.

Northeast losing a lot of people to the south for various reasons….high costs, weather, job opportunities, etc

  13. alby says:

@chris: And you want us to know this why?

  14. alby says:

“Another liberal posing as a Democrat”

WTF does this even mean? Why do you put up with this, Jason?
