PM May’s Roll of the Dice Comes Up Snake Eyes. She’s still likely to be able to form a minority government with support from a Northern Ireland party though. But the election weakened her instead of making her Brexit initiative easier to accomplish.

House Rethugs Vote To Gut Dodd-Frank.  Not even the bankers think it’s got a chance.

About John McCain…:  Look, there are more than a few senators who are in their dotage.  But McCain is such a media hound that he’s now been revealed to be one of them.  Speaking of which, you don’t see Carper on the tube very much, do you?

Seems like left and center left hold more seats. I don’t know the intricacies of the system, but it seems like if all the lefty’s got onboard, it should be Labor forming a government.

What a theatre like The Schwartz Center needs is a really good Presenter (which is an art in itself). The Milton Theatre, for example, runs programming more than 300 days a year. Of course, they have Dog Fish and proximity to the beach. Still, the presenting org is doing an amazing job.

I’d suggest you read up on the Democratic Unionist Party. DUP is a bunch of Irish kooks.

Remember also that May is looking for a minority government not a coalition government. Meaning an all Tory cabinet with no other representation as you’d have with coalition.

This story might be a one-off, or it could signal more Congressional pushback against the Trump administration. Republican Chuck Grassley strongly condemns WH decision to release data only to committee chairs:

He covered his ass with his base by also opening yet another Hillary Clinton investigation.

I guess Pete’s strategy of compromise first and hope nothing bad happens didn’t work out so well.

I am guessing he wasn’t a hostage negotiator in his previous career.

Reality Winner is in jail, accused of leaking national defense information. What she is reported to have leaked is that the Russians attempted to penetrate a company that sells US election software. Now, that information may be important, but it does not fall under the category of national defense any more than the recipe for the original Kentucky Fried Chicken.
