Carney Proposes Privatizing Economic Development.  Business deciding which businesses to back.  No conflict-of-interest there.

Joe Loserman???!!!:  Look up ‘Useful Idiot’ in the dictionary and Joe Lieberman’s picture will pop up.  Hey, he has bipartisan support: John McCain and Tom Carper.  This would suck big-time.

Turkey Got Its Moneysworth From Michael Flynn: This HAS to be illegal, right?

A Back-Channel Between Trump and Putin to Bypass US National Security?  This HAS to be illegal, right?

It’s Always Been About the Money.  Without Russia, Trump’s business empire would have collapsed long ago.

Turkish Security Thugs Attrack Peaceful Protestors. Here. In DC.  There’s a reason why Erdogan was not welcome in the White House for years.

  1. BREAKING: Roger Ailes has died.

  2. bamboozer says:

“Roger Ailes has died.” Interesting in the extreme, no doubt of a “broken heart”.

  3. They’ve been giving him post-mortem blow jobs on ‘Morning Joe’ for the last 45 minutes.

  4. Trump’s doing a press conference at 3:30 today. And I’m gonna be stuck at work.

Who KNOWS what he will do? Wouldn’t shock me if he fires the newly-minted Special Prosecutor.

I guess that means it’s only Hannity that women on Fox news have to watch out for lol

“I have never killed a man, but I have read some obituary notices with great satisfaction.” –Clarence Darrow

  8. Ben says:

Very strange circumstances. Ailes had close contact with Dump before the election. He must have seen or heard something. Someone should look into the possibility he was killed to silence him.

  9. Alby says:

@Ben: Right. It was a liberal conspiracy that turned him into a fat turd with an all-you-can-eat buffet of degenerative conditions, then to make him fall down and hit his head. So much more likely than “fat turd’s life habits catch up to him.”

  10. Ben says:

No, Im more thinking Bannon had him silenced so he couldnt spill the beans on the “Russian shower” Dumpy was taking during debate prep last year.

Liberals are too useless and busy fighting each other over what intersectionality TRULY means to carry out something like this.

  11. Alby says:

“Intersectionality” is the latest way to divert liberal attention away from the fact that we all make up one great mosaic and focus it on the fact that we’re each individual bits of glass.

  12. Alby says:

This marks the third time in my lifetime that Americans have staged a production of “Impeachment!” and it’s already better than the other two — a twistier, more audacious plot, faster-moving action and a rogue’s gallery of characters that puts “Suicide Squad” to shame. Best of all, though, is its biting black humor, the sharpest-fanged since “Dr. Strangelove.”
    Four stars.

Meanwhile, for our readers too comfy in their fox-lined bubbles to look elsewhere, check out the context of Kevin McCarthy’s “joke” about Trump being on Putin’s payroll:

As one tweeter named “Darth” pointed out, the key to a good joke is afterwards swearing everybody to secrecy to never ever fucking repeat it.

IG Burton on the radio this morning giving the standard answer that they always give when asked about over development without proper infrastructure…..”It’s the State’s responsibility.”

Yeah, IG, but the Sussex County Council can curb the growth, right?….Like that will ever happen.

  14. Jak and/or Daxter says:

Wait, can we go back to big business conducting a semi-hostile take over of the state’s economic development arm… that’s f’d up.

  15. Why yes, yes we can. Pretty much everything you’re seeing, eliminating the Estate Tax, eliminating the senior citizen property tax break, building in the Coastal Zone, ‘public-private’ business partnerships making economic development decisions with taxpayer dollars, came out of the recommendations of two ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE (I’m deeply concerned about being too subtle) working groups that Jack Markell put together in his waning days. Groups completely dominated by the Chamber, the Business Roundtable, and Markell’s pro-business lackeys. Here are a couple of rants on this crap:

    http://delawareliberal.net//2017/01/19/carney-pushing-public-private-partnerships-but-what-are-ppps-really/

Doesn’t look like Carney has done anything but go full speed ahead on the Chamber’s agenda. With what passes for D leadership giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
