The reality of what the GOP voted for

Filed in National by on May 4, 2017

…doesn’t matter.

The house Republicans could have voted for everyone in the country to get a service monkey. Who knows? Nobody has read the bill, but reality doesn’t matter. The bill hasn’t passed the Senate. That only matters to egg-heads and losers.

Speaking of losers, people will lose their insurance and probably die, but before they die, they’ll vote to re-elect Trump because they are dumb. They will die dumb but on the side of the winners, not the losers. There “team” isn’t America, it is the GOP.

Trump has declared victory over the horrible, heinous, terrible Obamacare, and because he declared Obamacare dead, it is dead. And now it is party time for 50% of this idiot country. Congratulations you dumb fucks. You did it!

Trump hat

The question now is, who determines if a bill qualifies for the budget reconciliation process? The parliamentarian? The majority leader? Marco Rubio?

It will be necessary to sweep away the rubble of Obamacare to get to Medicare for all.

It is kinda heart warming to me that these two comments both overlay some kind of linear logic to the events of the day. When I watch the “news” or listen to Democratic politicians speak I feel like I’m watching a Colonial Williamsburg style put on. An exhausted acting out of occupations people once had, doing jobs they once did as a sort of hobby.

Watching the dems dance and sing about some imagined 2018 victory, I was as enraged as what the Rthugs did. This is not a time for some sort of snide celebration. More proof that it is a game to folks like Pelosi.

Yep. The same people who thought Clinton was a great candidate.

  6. Ben says:

The same people who will keep putting Pelosi in charge of liquidating the party.

“Cook Political Report on Friday morning changed its ratings for 20 House seats, predicting that Democrats’ odds of winning those districts has increased now that House Republicans passed a bill to repeal Obamacare.”

I remember when the Cook Political Report predicted that the Dems would take the Senate. Good times.

Good point, Puck. If there is one thing I’ve learned in 30 years associated with the health care BUSINESS, it is that FOR PROFIT third party players do not work well in a socialist type health care effort/system. But the health insurance lobby is so strong they remained alive in Obamacare. As much as I dislike government bureocracy, it is the only way in a social health care system.
