Democrats cruisin’ for another bruisin’

Filed in National by on April 24, 2017

A lot of talk about the old Dem circular firing squad forming up. Good times. Here is what professional DC Democrats and Clintonites, and frauds like John Carney still don’t get. No progressive (or “Bernie Bro” if you want to try and be disparaging) is going to be scolded back into the Democratic Party as it is currently constituted. That is to say, no progressive is going to join a less racist version of the Republican Party devoted to pursuing the interest of the finical sector.

If progressives ever come back, they need to be romanced in. With real improvements to the shit ass crap that currently passes as “Democratic” policies. And they could be easily romanced, but to the professional DC Democrats and Clintonites, and frauds like John Carney, the idea of romancing the likes of me (for example) makes them want to puke. As far as John Carney is concerned, dirty hippies, have no place in the America, let alone the Democratic Party. There are some traditional Democratic factions that Carney probably does give a shit about (The Civil Rights Industrial Complex, Gays, Some Labor, etc.) but old school Roosevelt New Dealers aren’t one of them.

You can look at this as “getting my victim on” but I promise it isn’t. It is just me letting you High Dems know why you are setting up to lose …again.

Are you printing “frauds like John Carney” on bumper stickers?

  2. Harold says:

there really aren’t any true progressives in Delaware anymore, if there ever were. 2016’s election season proved that.

  3. Josh W says:

If progressives just sit around waiting to be wooed, things will never get done. We should be kicking down doors and demanding a seat at the table in the Democratic party. Progressives should find out when and where their local RD committees meet, and then show up with as many friends and neighbors that are able to come. If a Democratic representative or Senator in a safe seat doesn’t vote like a progressive should, then we should be scouring their district for someone to primary them.

Progressives sitting on the sidelines, waiting for the establishment to finally acknowledge our existence is how we get into this situation in the first place. I say we stop waiting to be wooed, and do some rough wooing ourselves

That’s a good point, Josh. I guess I view taking a hard line against voting for Democratic frauds like John Carney as a part of that.

  5. Capesdelaware says:

Jason, We are just waiting for our instructions from you . You won . In case you had not noticed YOU are in charge . The state of Delaware awaits .

  6. Jason330 says:

I continue not win for structural reasons. But, as you may have noticed, I am constantly right. Particularly on the topic of why Democrats lose elections such as the most recent Presidential election.

BHL has already distanced herself from him and has had limited interaction with him. That says something! Also, why do the incremental tax brackets have to start or stop at 125k (still middle class). For a decent sized family 125k drys up really fast. I can’t believe the pay your fair share mentality hasn’t resonated with Carney. 500k+ should be another bracket

  8. Anon says:

BHL distances herself from anything that might be controversial. It’s opposite of being a leader!

  9. chris says:

BHL has had her finger in the wind since day one of her elected public office.

  10. This Tom Perez guy is, to put it mildly, a disappointment. He can bash Rethugs just fine, but he doesn’t go any further than the Clinton DINO’s would have gone. You should have seen him contorting himself over single-payer.

The Third Way guys still control the apparatus at the top. Only way to go is to take over the Party from the grassroots on up.

    Starting here in Delaware.

55,000 Delawareans voted for Bernie. Don’t tell me there are no real progressives in this State. The DNC is the problem. Since Bill Clinton brought Wall street into the party in 1994…democrats have joined in with the millionaires and billionaires. Its the one reason those who voted for Obama twice, voted for Trump. Our unions have been destroyed, and these corporate democrats will continue to run the party into the ground, cuz they just love those corporate contributions. Bernie proved you don’t need corporations or millionaires to run a clean election, but again the corporate dems ignore those facts. We have no democratic leader in this country right now. The only way is to bring in independents, moderate republicans, blacks, latinos back to the party. DNC has no real strategy for accomplishing that. Those 18 to 35 get it they are engaged, knowledgeable and ready for progressive change.

  12. mouse says:

So sad, does the Democratic party actually think the liberals who vote for Democrats are somehow devoted to the party, lol. The dems are default where the republicans are a sad sick joke. The party means nothing to me and I have contempt for it’s self serving leadership. They don’t seem to get that people who vote for them would rather vote for Bernie or the Greens. Most of the party types are pandering to liberals on issues that don’t hurt the corporate masters.

BHL = Hillary. I can hear her tantrums all the way to Milford.
