Is Tom Carper a Lizard Person?

Filed in Delaware by on February 10, 2017

After Tom Carper voted no on confirming the Republican racist Attorney General, Carper rushed up the aisle to hug him. This is not normal. This is what Lizard People do. The only explanation then is that Tom Carper is a lizard person.

From The Hill:

A handful of Democratic senators — including Manchin, Sen. Joe Donnelly (Ind.) and Bob Menendez (N.J.) — went over and shook Sessions’s hand after the vote. Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.), who didn’t support Sessions, hugged him on the Senate floor.

Here’s the video from C-SPAN. I believe that this is Carper we see rushing up the aisle in the bottom right of the screen to embrace the Republican attorney general in what can only be described as some sort of reptilian courtship ritual.

This is my favorite headline and picture ever.

After the counter demonstration at 7th and Shipley this Saturday (10am – bring a friend) this is our next order of business.

I think well walk into Carper’s one at a time and ask for a hug.

  3. Crowdpac the lizard bastard.

You see what they’re doing, right? Let Coons take the heat now to take it off of Carper. If Carper gets reelected in 2018, he’ll take the heat while Coons tries to rehab his reputation for 2020.

I think all three of our elected officials could use a spinal infusion.

Why bother even calling them? Make CC see that we have given up on them and are now out to replace them.
Can the various Delaware progressive/liberal groups back up their talk and elevate a primary challenger?

  6. Jason330 says:

El Somnambulo – Write up the Corwdpac appeal as a post here, and I’ll launch the campaign. The interesting thing about Crowdpac is that they review the campaigns and you have to come to terms with them about what outcome triggers the money going out.

For a campaign to challenge Carper, it might have to be that someone files to run against him in a primary to reach the bar of being a “legitimate” challenger.

  7. bamboozer says:

Never too early for impeachment, never to early to plan a primary opponent for the lizard king, apologies to Jim Morrison in advance.

  8. Ben says:

Totally agreed. If a primary challenger announces ….. hell, TODAY, These guys will have to spend their entire time in office pretending to be democrats… the result might actually be some action as if there were actually dems. If they keep up their belly-rub-seeking ways, they’re gone. (I think this goes for whoever is going to unseat lord dampnut as well…. he started running for potus in 2010)

  9. Dana says:

Why do you have a problem with this? It’s pretty clear that Senator Carper is a personal friend of Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III — one of the best Southern names ever! — but he still voted against both cloture and confirmation of his friend to become Attorney General.

Isn’t that what you want, for one of your senators to vote your way politically, even if it means voting against the interests of one of his friends?

Or is it your position that Democratic senators must personally hate Republican senators?

Ben- I’m surprised no national Dem has decided to establish thier rep as the shadow candidate yet. Who knows though, After a few more bungled and botched weeks like these past few, tge field might be crowded.

  11. Alby says:

The first hurdle is actually getting Delaware voters to understand that they deserve better.

  12. Disappointed says:

    John Kowalko should primary Carper.
