Concerning the proposed exit from Rt.1 to the Dover Mall would someone please explain why it would not be the proverbial Mongolian Cluster You Know What? The mall is a short distance from the current tolls, will the mall exit collect tolls? What happens when summer comes and the mall exit backs up? What happens when confused beach goers wind up at the mall instead? This seems to be yet another vintage attempt to use the government for profit, in addition I see no real reason this will boost sales at the mall. It’s an effort to prop up a dinosaur, in the long term the mall, and perhaps all malls, will fail as shopping goes online.
It seems to me to be another example of using our already strained budget to make tourist and developers happy. The N. Dover exit really isn’t that far from the mall. I don’t get why this is even an option. People are not all of the sudden going to flock to Dover. The argument that access is the issue is silly; Christiana thrives because it is across the border from Philly and sales taxes. The Outlets at the beach are…at the Beach…and are outlets.

The author of the piece, with a straight face, says it’s unprecedented to require 60 votes for cloture except on Alito, thereby providing the precedent he says doesn’t exist (it was on the Democratic side, but still) while ignoring the actually unprecedented Garland stonewall and pretending that didn’t represent escalation of the posturing race.
I’m not sure what the big boy pants has to do with it, but when I keep hearing that white college educated guys (my cohort) voted for Trump, I think – WTF? Who are these morons?
