This lawsuit says everything you need to know about President Baby-Hands and his mob of lunatics

Filed in National by on February 7, 2017

Melania Trump’s lawyers alleged in a lawsuit filed Monday that the First Lady’s “unique once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity to profit from her White House role was damaged by a Daily Mail article claiming she once worked as an escort.

The suit, filed in New York State Supreme Court against the tabloid’s owner, Mail Media, seeks compensatory and punitive damages of at least $150 million.

According to the suit, Trump planned to leverage her years as “one of the most photographed women in the world” to establish new “licensing, branding and endorsement” deals worth millions of dollars. She intended to “launch a broad-based commercial brand” selling “apparel accessories, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, hair care, skin care and fragrance,” the suit states.

Some would say she still works as an escort.

  2. speaktruth says:

There is a reason why she is in NY and he in the White House. She knows he is a nut and must be relieved not have to deal with him on a daily basis. Agree with Puck she still is an “escort”.

  3. Alby says:

I read the original stories, and they never said she was an escort. They said the guy she worked for in Italy was known to have run escort services, which I believe he denied.

This is a problem media has when they run stories based on old reporting of dubious provenance. When the case gets to court, those anonymous sources aren’t going to show up. For the papers, it’s probably not worth pursuing with so much else looming on the legal front.

I just can’t believe so many of the pod people are OK with this. These Trumps are the most disgustingly grasping people I have ever seen this side of the Kardashians.

Lawyers are always throwing in anything that could get themselves and their clients (but mostly themselves) more money, and basically you can’t just go around writing that someone was a hooker unless you are damned sure that they were.

  5. liberalgeek says:

But can you suggest that they ran a child-prostitution ring out of the basement of a DC pizza joint? Asking for a friend.

  6. fightingbluehen says:

    No

  7. Jason330 says:

Not surprised that fightingbluehen completely misses the point that the Trumps are OPENLY stating here that it is their PLAN to USE the office to further enrich themselves.

  8. puck says:

Someone should start selling a crappy drugstore perfume called “Melania.”

  9. Alby says:

He also missed the point that no story called her a hooker, or an escort. But then I guess it wasn’t on Fox, so it didn’t happen.

  10. Anono says:

And how much money has Obama made on his books while in the white house?

THEY all profit, during and after Presidency.

Hey, look at the Clinton’s Hillary and Bill wore broke, when he left office.

  11. Jason330 says:

That weak comparison reveals a lot about how overworked the GOP spin machine is right now.

Anono: You can check, because he released his tax returns. Just google them and look for yourself.
