Coons’ BFD and I Don’t Care

Filed in Delaware by on January 14, 2017

So Senator Chris Coons accidentally acts like a Democrat and will vote against the Sessions’ confirmation and we are supposed to sing high praises of his bravery and fortitude? Fuck that shit. That’s what real Democrats are supposed to do. This is like expecting your child to behave at school, your spouse not to cheat, and Philadelphia sports teams to loose  — this is how things work. No pat on the back for doing your fucking job, Senator Coons.

Sessions will be our next Attorney General, so it is not a big fucking deal that Coons acts like a Democrat and votes against the confirmation. Coons should be a Democrat ALL THE TIME and vote in the interest of the people instead of in the interest of his corporate backers. Then and only then will I lead everyone in singing Hosannas in Coons’ name.

I did appreciate his position on Sessions. But you are correct in that this isn’t something we shouldn’t have guaranteed from our Democratic electeds.

Coons’ BFF stand with Mr. Global Exxon is just as disturbing as wondering if Coons’ bible studies and gym routines with Sessions would be a much too friendly influence.

Yep. He has already signaled how cool he is with Tillerson. He needs to get 1,000 calls on that vote.

Coons’ opposition to Sessions makes me hear the voice of Chris Rock: “That’s what you S’POSED to do! What do you want, a cookie?”

I think I have seen clips of Chris Coons appearing on all the networks practically everyday for like three months. Is he vying for leadership in the Democratic party or something?

He can jockey for that position all he wants but someone with celebrity status will pluck it from him eventually….Probably someone like Mrs Obama, if I know the party correctly…..Maybe he can go for two in a row VP spots from Delaware if he’s lucky, but that’s about the extent of it I’m thinking.
