    William Bell got me immediately, R&B is not dead after all.

Bell wrote the soul hit ‘You Don’t Miss Your Water’ which crossed over and became a country hit and was covered by the Byrds on ‘Sweetheart of the Rodeo’; the huge Albert King blues hit “Born Under a Bad Sign’, and a big hit in Britain called ‘Private Number’, a duet with Judy Clay.
