Personally, I voted for Matlusky for Treasurer and Hanifa Shabazz for Council President. Darius Brown is a good guy buy his experience is very light.

I went Matlusky as well, he is a CPA, and has no ties or loyalties to the “wilmington political machine” that alone is enough of a reason. Went Justin Wright for council pres., figured he’d probably work better with Eugene Young. Though I could be wrong.. would’ve loved NCC and Wilm council endorsements on here.
I went Ken Matlusky for City Treasurer and Justen Wright for Council President.
Matlusky is most qualified of the three . Darius dropped a Chernobly like bomb mailer on Velda the last day. Brought forth all the Velda scandals of the past. Justen Wright is beter than Hanifa. He will stand up for whats right. Hanifa will not. She will just listen to whatever Bud Freel tells her to do.
5:45pm at Oberle Elementary. Polls deserted except for about a dozen poll workers and a few Longhurst campers out front. James Burton got my vote in that race.
