Trump’s GOP to become a ‘Worker’s Party’

Filed in National by on May 26, 2016

Workers should have a home in at least one U.S. political party, and the Democratic Party doesn’t appear to want the job. (*cough* NAFTA… *cough*…TPP…)

Donald Trump predicted that he would transform the Republican Party into a “worker’s party” if he wins the 2016 election.

“Five, 10 years from now—different party,” Trump told Bloomberg Politics during an extended sit-down folded within the magazine’s profile on Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus. “You’re going to have a worker’s party. A party of people that haven’t had a real wage increase in 18 years, that are angry. What I want to do, I think cutting Social Security is a big mistake for the Republican Party.”

Granted, Trump’s version of a “Worker’s Party” would probably be super fascist.

    “Workers Party” sounds kinda communist.

To be fair, the switch of the professional class to the Democrats and the non-minority working class to the Republicans has been going on for some time now, and probably will continue with or without Trump.

It would be more apt to call his party the Slave Party, since he thinks wages are too high.

And I assume this worker’s party will be for less worker protections and safety regulations so that more workers can die. I assume this worker’s party will be for tax cuts for the worker’s bosses while the worker’s wages decline. I assume this worker’s party will want to repeal Social Security, Obamacare, Unemployment Benefits and Medicare and Medicaid. I assume this worker’s party will be anti-union.

But of course, according to Jason, it’s the DEMOCRATs who are anti-workers.

Dude, as long as they don’t do anything to curtail disability benefits for “bad backs” suffered “on the job,” the white working class will be all for it.

  6. Jason330 says:

According to Jason, the DEMOCRATs are dismissive of American workers particularly in regards to globalization and “free trade.”

Is this throw back Thursday or something? The auto industry is long gone from Delaware. You have a bad back now, and your white ass is shit out of luck.

“Worker’s party” was just Donald Trumps’ impulse of the moment. It will have life for about 48 hours and then he’ll be on to some other impulse. The best kind of analysis that can be given to Donald Trump is diagnosis. He lacks the consistent and intact self requisite to analyze him politically.
