Carney’s Town Hall – A Review

Filed in National by on May 11, 2016

Last night 3,000 other Delawareans and I listened to John Carney say some form of the word “bipartisan” eight times in his brief opening remarks. I shit you not. Then he took questions. Not mine though. I was going to ask him is he was even aware of the fact that he used the word “Bipartisanship” eight times in his brief opening remarks. And, if so, why?

There was one bright spot. They ran a poll question about gun control. It was something like, which statement do you agree with?
1) We need to enforce existing Laws (Basically the NRA position),
2) We need more attention to mental health, or
3) We need to close loopholes and crack down on gun sales

57% of the listeners picked #3, the least NRA approved option which was a nice surprise.

Overall Rating: Ten Thumbs Down on a scale of 1 to 3.

  1. Tom Kline says:

There’s nothing “bipartisan” about Carney or the other clowns running DE.

I’ll bet he talked about the evil boogeyman of the debt, too. Austerity! That’s the answer!

See? even the Tom Kline bot algorithm is programmed to recognize a Republican when it sees one.
