Trump Goes Back to the ’90s For Most Recent Attack

Filed in National by on May 8, 2016

Donald Trump reaches deep down into the Republican Clinton Attack Book.

“There was nobody that was worse, nobody than Bill Clinton, with women,” Mr. Trump told the crowd in Spokane.

“She’s married to a man who was impeached for lying,” Mr. Trump said of Mrs. Clinton. “He was impeached for lying about what happened with a woman. And she’s gonna take ads about little Donald Trump? I don’t know. I don’t think so.”

Describing Mrs. Clinton as an “enabler,” he added, “Some of these women were destroyed, not by him, but by the way that Hillary Clinton treated them after everything went down.”

Only MRAs (Mens’ Rights Activists) blame the woman who was cheated on. Everyone else sees the person (man or woman) cheated on as not responsible for the cheater’s actions.

Trump this weekend: “I mean all of the men, we’re petrified to speak to women anymore, we may raise our voice,” he said. “You know what, the women get it better than we do, folks.”

I’m sure this will strike a chord with some men, but most people won’t buy it. Just like most people understood that Elliot Rodger’s shooting spree was rooted in misogyny – If you doubted Rodger’s motivation then Trump’s comments will resonate with you. I wrote a while ago about Republicans adopting the MRA platform. Trump is completely in line with this message.

Trump views women as extensions of their husbands, a boutonnière. He views them as gatekeepers to their husband’s action. If their husband has an affair then it’s the wife’s fault. I didn’t think his unfavorability with women could get much higher. I was wrong.

I hope Hillary and Bill recognize this attack for what it is – an attempt to set the tone of the campaign, and throw her off her game and force some kind of mistake. It may also keep Bill off the campaign trail. I haven’t heard too much from him lately. The best response is to move forward with a crisply focused issue-based campaign. Trump would love nothing better than a campaign that consists of calling each other liar, or misogynist/enabler.

But if Hillary tries counter this kind of stuff with character-based soft-focus tearjerker ads about children of illegal immigrants for example, she needs to think again. There is a lot of public information about Trump’s three marriages. I’m sure we will be hearing more about that soon (through surrogates, I hope). It probably doesn’t help that Trump is endorsed by all of his wives.

    This just in….Trump sucks….I repeat, Trump sucks….

This has been a Delaware Liberal news alert. Stay tuned for more evidence that Trump sucks over the next six months….

As a late great American sang, “I wish I was like you, easily amused…”

@a “Stay tuned for more evidence that Trump sucks over the next six months….”

But what’s interesting is exactly HOW he will suck, and what can be done about it.

Yep. This is the site for that. Stick around and help make the rest of us look better and better.

To a mind as feeble as yours, perhaps. You’re a party lapdog without anything intelligent to say and an uninteresting way of saying it. There’s nothing I can say that will fix that. You’re a fucking moron and proud of it.

@anonymous Reading your last few comments, you are close to being spam/troll. Is it really necessary to speak to people this way?

MRAs? Is that really a thing…lol?

Hillary went after the many woman of her husband(the cheater) ,with malicious intent, and soley to silence them. That’s really not acceptable in today’s PC world.

A lot of younger people are not entirely familiar with the Clinton’s misdoings in the 90s, but I’m sure they will hear about them, and I don’t think they will be as tolerant of those misdoings, and the threatening manner in how the Clintons handled themselves, as older generations were.

You run someone with 90s baggage, and someone brings up that 90s baggage.
    What did you expect?
