I’m calling it: The Walking Dead Officially Sucks

Filed in National by on March 28, 2016

Repetitive, boring… It is simply stupid at this point. No central characters are ever killed anymore and the way they behave, they are in desperate need of being killed.

How many undisciplined strolls do we have to go on with these nit wits? How many times do “the bad guys” need to get the drop on them in some stupid ambush? How long before the show runners realize that they have written one too many “very special” episodes in which Rick is forced to reflect in his humanity, or lack of it?

This season has been complete shit. Good riddance you dumb fucks. Walking dead

Slightly less dumb opinion. This season hasn’t been good.

  2. Delaware Dem says:

I like this new series of Jason Calling It.

  3. Jason330 says:

Someone has to call it. Might as well be me.

Soap Opera in disguise, and fighting zombies is pretty much a been there and done that sort of thing. We watched it sporadically but I suspect even for the hard core watcher the thrill is gone.

TWD runs into trouble by focusing on the mid-season finale and end of season finale. We’ve been waiting for Negan and Lucille since late last fall, but they obviously want to end this season with a bang – that, I’m predicting, will give us at least one dead main character… and FINALLY introduce us to Negan.

First Dead Man Walking and now Walking Dead. Good day of blogging for Jason. 🙂

First season was great. Then the network sacked the showrunner and cut the budget (and funneled the money to the art director on “Mad Men” instead) and I realized I not only could outrun the zombies, I could just walk away.

  8. Jason330 says:

Suddenly, I feel as if I must post something about Christopher Walken.

  9. pandora says:

The zombies were never the threat in TWD – people are the threat. Zombies were the reason this unlikely group of people came together.

I think the finale will be gut wrenching. They simply put in a lot of filler episodes (too many) to get us to next Sunday.

I still enjoy the show, but it is repetitive. I dread Negan’s arrival while looking forward to it in a sick way. But I’m ready to move onto spring viewing. Game of Thrones, Fear the Walking Dead (I have really mixed feelings on this one, but will give this season a chance) and Outlander start soon. I just binged watched the People vs OJ – talk about a trip down memory lane!

To paraphrase a line from The Simpsons they were never good

  11. Frank says:

Heck, I’ve never watched an episode, and I knew it was crap from the git-go.

  12. MAD says:

This show has been on a downward spiral ever since the “fake” Glen death. This group makes the dumbest decisions & never pays for it. Since this shows writers love to torture its audience I have zero doubt that this season will end on a cliffhanger. Prepare to wait until next October for answers. I’m just about done with this show.

  13. Jason330 says:

Agree 100%. The fake Glen death was when they jumped the shark.

    The comics are better.
