They don’t call him “Slick Willie” for nothing

It sounds like Bill Clinton cajoled and flattered Trump into jumping into the race.

The Post’s Robert Costa and Anne Gearan wrote:

The tone of the call was informal and Clinton never urged Trump to run, the four people said. Rather, they said, Clinton sounded curious about Trump’s moves toward a presidential bid and told Trump that he was striking a chord with frustrated conservatives and was a rising force on the right.”

    I absolutely love it. Bill Clinton trolled the entire Republican Party with this move.

    I know, right? Classic Bill.

  3. Rhonda Tuman says:

    I’m afraid it sounds like something he would do, and if he did with his wife’s knowledge how can we believe he won’t be running the white house wheb she’s elected? If she didn’t know, why not? Or, the whole could be fabricated by the r’s to cause problems.

  4. Delaware Dem says:

    That is quite a sexist comment there Rhonda. Why is it bad for husbands to influence and talk to their wives? Wives talk to and influence their husbands all the time. First Ladies have been talking to and influencing their Presidents for 239 years. So why is it now bad that Bill Clinton will whispering into Hillary’s ear? You better believe Hillary whispered into Bill’s ear. You better believe Nancy whispered into Ron’s ear. You better believe Michelle whispered into Barack’s ear.

    @Delawarelefty
    I agree, you made a commitment, stick to it. Hillary quit Sec of State. Who knows what she would do as a President.

  13. Delawarelefty says:

    Such BS, cabinet members often resign at the end of a four year term. If that is the best you got then you lose……again!

  14. Geezer says:

    “Hillary quit Sec of State.”

    Quick, name the last Secretary of State who spent eight years in the job.

    Hint: It took him two presidents to do so.
