it’s all about projection. Conservatives “know” diplomacy wont work because they, themselves, are blood-lust filled neanderthals.

Love it when Delaware Dem knows everything. Have you read the agreement or just snip-its? A fact sheet has been released, so far or are you in the “inner circle”?

Before anyone makes comments, they should read what’s in this treaty, even you DD!

  3. ben says:

BiBi hates it. that’s endorsement enough for me.

  4. Delaware Dem says:

All the Republicans who want war with Iran and who lied so that we could go to war with Iraq hate the deal. That automatically means the deal is good.

A Rule of Life is that if a Republican is against it, it is good.

  5. Tom McKenney says:

Those who like to start wars want no part of going to war themselves.

  6. Dorian Gray says:

The Ayatollah’s Shia militias are already on the ground fighting Daesh in Iraq. Iran will be understood as a critical ally of the US in less than five years. Same as the House of Saud is now. All the political knee jerk celebrating on one side and gnashing of teeth on the other is very entertaining though. Like a hacky comedian or vaudeville…

I actually think that as the ultimate show of protest Bibi should self immolate on the Temple Mount. Now that’s show business!

Let’s take a little look at history & the deal that Clinton said; “was a good deal” too.

    Fast forward to 2006

I’m not saying start a war at all, but when your in negotiations and the people on the other side of the table says; “Death to America” I think there might be a problem.

  8. Delawarelefty says:

OK anonymous GOPer, your point is that the Cheney/Bush administration allowed North Korea to build a bomb and the Obama Administration won’t let Iran to do likewise. Damn your rapture is delayed again!

  9. Jason330 says:

Yeah.. “Be more effective, like George W Bush.” Isn’t an argument that holds up to much scrutiny.

  10. Anonymous says:

Clinton, Bill Clinton, he made the deal.
I have not said I’m supporting this or against this. You are all saying how great this is.

Here is my question; Have any of you read the 100 page document in full? NO

  11. fightingbluehen says:

Deals between nations don’t add up to a hill of beans in that area of the world. The word of the Quran and Muhammad are the only restrictions that bind, and deception is encouraged. I think this deal is more about letting the Iranian money flow again, than any kind of meaningful nuclear nonproliferation.

Yeah, this deal is just a dog and pony show. Obama’s “Drone Diplomacy” will continue, and more Iranian nuclear scientists will suddenly be missing.

  12. Jason330 says:

Inveterate Obama haters, teabags and assorted wingnuts who don’t like diplomacy appear to favor the Bush method of no talk abroad, and macho talk at home.

Americans (both Republicans and Democrats) with a more reality based world view saw how that strategy played out in Iraq and North Korea, and sensibly favor diplomacy by wide margins.

  13. Geezer says:

“Deals between nations don’t add up to a hill of beans in that area of the world. The word of the Quran and Muhammad are the only restrictions that bind, and deception is encouraged.”

I am sure you’re speaking from your long experience living and working in that area of the world.

  14. Geezer says:

“Here is my question; Have any of you read the 100 page document in full? NO”

Here is my answer: Neither you nor I will understand what it says, because we don’t know anything about enriching uranium. MORON

  15. Geezer says:

Now let’s get going on stripping Israel of its nuclear bombs.

  16. Dorian Gray says:

The entire argument against this deal is solely political and hence absurd. The alternative to diplomacy is the GOP/Bibi plan. Continue with draconian sanctions and even potentially increase the pressure of the west’s boot on Tehran’s economic throat. Then just hope the threat of a huge military strike dissuades the Iranians from further pursuing a bomb. Just push Iran to the precipice of economic collapse. Spit in their faces. Choke them till they blackout. That’ll make them less adversarial! What evidence do we have that this threat will lead to Iranbacking down?

Then when the Ayatollah gets good and pissed and ramps up the nuclear program Israel coordinates a huge bombing operation against Iranian bases and missile sites. That’s a super scenario! Perhaps Netanyahu can bring another cartoon slide to the UN to explain it.

Israeli hard liners need to grow up. Without the US Israel doesn’t exist. Israel should exist. I have no issue with America buttressing the Israeli state. I would however like a little fucking appreciation. A thank you every now and then would be nice, don’t you think?

    @ Geezer
So because we don’t understand what the 159 pages say, it’s a good deal?
Like people didn’t understand everything in the ACA, because they wrote it that way?

I don’t have to resort to name calling.

  18. Geezer says:

@anonymous: No, because you don’t understand what it says, you don’t get to have an opinion.

And you’re still a moron. Whether I say so or not won’t change that.

  19. LeBay says:

    LOL @ Geezer and “anonymous”.

Anon is either Geezer’s coworker or an ardent fan.
