Obama: Should’ve Closed Gitmo on the First Day

Filed in National by on March 22, 2015

I agree. And now basking in his lame duck freedom, he should do everything he can within his power to close it now. Since he is saying he should have closed it himself on the first day, he is implying that it is within his solitary power to do it. If that is the case, do it now. If not, if he needs an act of Congress to fully shut it down, well then, yeah, all we can do is chip away at it. Because we all know Republicans love their concentration camps and torture.

Gitmo is the latest Cuban Embargo, proven to be of no use and a national embarrassment it goes on and on anyway. As such expect nothing besides the usual fear mongering from the Republicans, that’s assuming Obama actually tries it.

    So I have a question…

“And now basking in his lame duck freedom, he should do everything he can within his power to close it now. ”

How exactly is he going to do everything he can when he is a lame duck? I mean, gimme a break Del Dem. He’s a fucking lame duck…he’s fucking pathetic…and now 6 years later, when all the stalling on releasing photo’s of the United States torturing prisoners has run out…he has a come to jesus moment that says, “I should have…”

No shit Obama, you should have because it was a campaign promise. But like so many of your other campaign promises you renigged on them.

    Go away you fraud.

Yeah. I’m not impressed with lame duck freedom. He had “elected with a mandate freedom” but pissed that away.
