DEGOP to call out Dems failure or something…?
According to John Fluharty Democrats lie. They are contemptible shitbags. Liars. Failures. Etc. If you are a Delaware Republican this news will move you to send money to the DEGOP. Or that seems to be the plan anyway. Substance doesn’t seem to be Fluharty’s strong suit.
Dear Republican Friend,
This morning the Democratic National Committee announced that they’ll be bringing their liberal bandwagon to Philadelphia for their 2016 National Convention. Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden and all the other tax, borrow and spend Democratic Party elites will be in our backyard.
Chairman Charlie Copeland quickly went on the record with the news media to make it clear that we intend to hold the Democrats accountable when he said, “…let’s face it, it’s going to take a lot of convention blue smoke and mirrors to weave a tapestry out of the Democrats fibers of failure.”
We both know the Democrats are going to use their Philadelphia convention to try and tell Americans that they have succeeded. They will go to any lengths to lie to the American people, and the bottom line is that they plan to tell Americans that we should elect Hillary Clinton and launch what amounts to a third Obama term.
The Delaware Republican Party intends to do everything we can to go toe-to-toe with the Democrats as they prepare for their Philadelphia Convention because we’ve simply had enough of their failed policies! But we need your help.
I know you have many financial commitments these days, but I need to ask you to send a small contribution to the Delaware Republican Party today so we can continue our work. The 2016 cycle was already going to be a busy year with the Governor’s race, the Lt. Governor’s race, and a clear shot at winning Delaware’s only Congressional seat. Now, we have to find the money to engage in a special program to hold the Democrats accountable when they gather in Philadelphia next summer.
The DEGOP runs on a shoestring budget, and it is going to cost the Party money to begin planning an effective strategy to ensure the Democrats don’t get a free ride in Philadelphia. Can I count on you to help us hold them accountable?

The economy finally is recovering despite six years of Republican recalcitrance, and they want to place the blame for the delay on the Democrats? I hope they recited this read using a brick wall for the backdrop — talking to Republicans is like talking to a brick wall, and the snark ranks with open-mike night at the Chuckle Hut.
Which fibers of failure is he referring to? Drone wars? Enacting Republicans idea on healthcare? or the fact we didn’t bomb the crap out of Iraq again (ya know we are supposed to do that every 10 years don’t cha know)?
It’s all garbage. Boilerplate. Switch a few names and a few canned phrases and sign it “John D. Daniello” and you’ll have the next DE Dem pitch for dough… Short on facts and long on sentences that include “tired of failed policies” and stop Hillary Clinton from…. something or other… &c., &c….
