If Tom Carper votes for this monstrosity tomorrow it should be tantamount to political suicide. I won’t be, but in rational world, it would be. (picture via Facebook)

Is Tom Carper alive in the first place? He’s a Democrat automaton. BTW, “progressive Democrat” is an oxymoron.

Meanwhile, right off the coast of Delaware…

Some one with some sense at least needs to subject him to a primary.

  4. EvolvDE says:

I wrote to both Carper and Coons last week about this. Coons sent a nice letter back the next day explaining his position. I got an auto email from Carper that said “thank you for your email. We will respond soon.” This guy doesn’t deserve to be “representing” us.

  5. SussexAnon says:

In a just world, Delawareans would care about the environment they live in. Right here. Locally.

  6. Jason330 says:

Right. And Carper shouldn’t vote for a project that only benefits a half a dozen Texans, at the expense of everyone including locals. Right here.

  7. fightingbluehen says:

Carper is not a “climate denier”(whatever the hell that means).
I stood there and listened to him give a speech about global warming on Coast Day in Lewes about fifteen years ago. He glibly stated something to the effect, that if we don’t act on global warming now, we will be having Coast Day in Dover in twenty years. Yeah.

  8. SussexAnon says:

Yeah, Carper should vote no. Blah blah blah. I agree with you. Its sucks.

Plenty of local things to work on if you care about the environment.

  9. Anonymous says:

    Carper=reason for term limits!

  10. Jason330 says:

Well, As I see, tonight’s vote in favor of keystone is H-Hour, D-Day for Carper. He is just telling every Enviro-voter and semi-aware Democrat in plain speech that he simply doesn’t give a fuck.

Will simply not giving a fuck effect him at the polls? Sadly, I still kinda doubt it.

He’s like the old republicans used to be before they went crazy and nasty on every issue
