Here’s some DOS 1.0 polling for you:

    http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/10/03/upshot/ncaa-football-map.html#8,38.112,-77.029

I’m an agnostic about football, but no one in the last 50 years has suggested that Penn State is the most popular semipro team among Delawareans who follow the sport.

  2. I disagree. I can’t believe the amount of State Pen stuff I see at work. It’s a cult, hence the denial of the tarnishing of the image of ‘St. Joe’ Paterno.

A lot of people include their school among their interests. But they don’t always wear school memorabilia into work. Not so with Ped State followers. You never see them in anything else.

My theory? It’s easier to buy into a cult when you’re out in the middle of nowhere w/o any countervailing influences.

They’re the Moonies with a Meteorology department.

Was just polled on US Sen and state Sen races (Bushweller/Warfield) by 20-20 Insight. Was asked about opinion on Carper as well. Also tested a bunch of messages against various unnamed candidates, including opinions on a candidate who just moved here from New York 10 years ago. Would that be Izzo?

  4. SussexWatcher says:

Never mind – Warfield’s been here less than 10 years. Must have all been about her.
