  1. Delaware Dem says:

Now it is time for some fun headlines: GOVERNOR REVEALS DOMINATRIX TO TAKE OVER WARNER ES.

  2. JL16 says:

“Now it is time for some fun headlines: GOVERNOR REVEALS DOMINATRIX TO TAKE OVER WARNER ES.”

Governor announces new school discipline plan; enrollment rate increases.

  3. “Won’t you help me work my way thru school?”

  4. Rob Tornoe says:

Best part is the apology (or lack thereof).

He doesn’t apologize for accidentally tweeting out a bondage pic, just offers the “we’re sorry if you were offended” non-apology apology.

  5. Aint's Taking it Any More says:

Some how, some way, Flowers had to be involved. Holding my breath that its true!

  6. Delaware Dem says:

A more complete statement with a real apology. Not that I really demand a real apology, as I was not offended, but I just hate the non apology apology (we are sorry if you are offended). Politicians need to drop that from their data banks. A simple “Whoops, we’re sorry. We are not sure how that happened and we certainly did not intend to post that photo.” would have sufficed.

During this morning’s event, a tweet was composed with a link to what was supposed to be a picture that had just been uploaded to the internet of the Governor’s education announcement. While the tweet was being edited, the auto-generated link for the picture was inadvertently altered. As a result, the picture linked to the tweet was a random, unrelated, and inappropriate picture that has been on the internet since 2010, and not the just-uploaded picture of the event. The tweet was deleted and we apologize for the error.

The lessons here are not to compose tweets too quickly and there is a lot of odd stuff on the internet. We just wish the accidental link had been a cat video.

  7. Even with the above explanation, how does that even happen. Sounds like Jack has a rat that knows his Twitter login and password. Or he left it open somewhere.

  8. Tom McKenney says:

A whole new meaning of being to the principals office for bad behavior

  9. gobiden says:

I doubt it was an error with altering the auto-generated link. More likely, the intern in charge of the Twitter account copied the wrong link in (and was looking at things they maybe shouldn’t have been looking at on work time). Happens all the time.

It’s pretty easy really. Here is a shortened link for this thread:

  11. SussexWatcher says:

Exceptional Delaware, do you even know how the Internet works?

  12. Jason330 says:

Does anyone? It is like magnets, an unfathomable mystery.

  13. SussexAnon says:

We’ve gone national! NYPost did a story on it.

If only the Gov’ did this for his Clean Water Initiative and gas tax proposal. Who said the era of cheesecake was dead?

  14. painesme says:

LiberalGeek – thank you for your super sleuthing! Clearest, most concise explanation that has been put forth yet.

  15. Geezer says:

I couldn’t find the thread where Ain’t Gonna Take It kept pretending not to understand why blacks in Ferguson were upset, so let me post this link to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch explaining it for him here:

  16. CC says:

Perhaps this is how Jack views teachers? As submissive. Or maybe its how he feels he should hold the whole education system up in Bondage—Tying up teachers ability to teach in favor of testing–

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed
the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her
ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I
    had to tell someone!
