Memorial Day Open Thread [5.26.14]

Hope all of you are enjoying this Memorial Day and are giving some thought to the purpose of the day.

President Barack Obama lays a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. President Obama is leading the nation in remembering its war heroes, the fallen and those still defending the flag, in a Memorial Day tribute.

    Attended Memorial Day services in Felton put on by the Adams Simpler Ware Post 6009 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Was a very moving ceremony with a lot of involvement from the community
